Hi Guys,
My DP turns 35 in 1 1/2 weeks time. His birthdays are really hard as he doesn not have a good relationship with his family except his brother. I have a few issues with his brother but put them aside. Unfortunately on the weekend of his birthday, my parents will be away for work so we cannot have a usual birthday dinner one with them until the week after. Usually I cook a four or five course meal paired with wines etc. Intimate and quiet is how my DP likes to do things. So this year his birthday falls on a Sunday. I am considering the following: 1. Breakfast out with me, visit the markets, and have a late yumcha lunch with his brother and my sister. 2. Dinner out with me (perhaps in the city or in the Dandenong's (somewhere we can bring our DSLR) and then Yum Cha as above. Any other suggestions or opinions on the above? I am really stuck for ideas. I have given him his main present already, but have a couple of smaller gifts I will give him. Any restaurant suggestions in the Dandenongs/Berwick area or the CBD. He loves Japanese, raw fish, good steak. We are both halfway through our weightloss goals at the moment so don't want anything fattening. Thanks! |
