You can add olive oil to the bath in place of any other products you're using. It's gentle, they feel wonderfully soft, and it can keep irritations at bay - no other moisturiser/product needed original.gif If you do it whenever you bath bub you may find it keeps cradle cap at bay. And if you have a bath with bub your skin will feel great too! Just be careful as it can be slippery if you're in as well!

Ask for shampoo without sodium laurel sulphate from either the chemist or health food shop.
(avoid bubble bath with it too - causes so much eczema!)

MooGoo Scalp Cream is the only thing that works for my kids (aged 2, 4 & 6) who STILL get CC.

Bi Carb, Oilve oil, even Rx script from Paed did nothing to stop the CC.

DS2 at 3yrs of age ended up with a 1x 2 inch bald spot on his head when I tried to get the CC out of his hair using 'usual' methods and combing. All his hair came out too. Moo Goo on the scalp at night and then comb out with a metal nit comb in the morning works wonders (and doesn't pull out his hair).

No my kids have NOT grown out of it (they have super sensitive skin).

Please try Mustela Foam Shampoo for Newborns. It's excellent in getting rid of cradle cap. My daughter's cradle cap was completely gone after about 5 uses. It's non-irritating, does not contain harmful chemicals and has a lovely subtle scent.

Re. Mustela Foam Shampoo for Newborns:
May I also add that you use it as you would shampoo. That's it. No grease, no combing out the next day and obviously, no hassle. Use it about 5 times, then you will be amazed. My daughter's cradle cap has completely cleared up and has not come back. We are still using it on a regular basis.

I used a paste of bi-carb and water that I smeared on and let dry. I then rinsed it off, along with all the cradle cap. Worked great for us.
