Hi there lady's i have just recently had a ultra sound that has show a second placenta at 24 weeks the whole way through my pregnancy i have been measuring weeks in front of where i should be this time i measured 31cm for my fundant
I am quite concerned at the possibility that there maybe a hidden twin and i have major back pain an loads more movement then i did with my last 11 months ago.
Should i be worried or is it pretty normal to have 2 placentas?

When they found the second placenta, surely they looked for a second baby?
Did they do a morphology scan? (usually around 20 weeks) cos with all those measurements they would for certain have noticed an extra baby.
My twins were clearly visible at my 12 week ultrasound.

the placenta was not found at my 20 week scan it was found at a quick OB appointment he did not look around or offer any information on this he really just disregarded the fact.
I my self was a hiddin twin until birth but really thought he would have givin some advise as to why there was a second placenta or done some digging around to check the plausibly as i have had a feeling the whole time there was two.
I had voice concerns about loads of movement and on different areas having pinched nerves on my hip when there was a lot of movement up high.
My doctor is really rude has told me to loss wieght which i have 7 kg in 4 weeks only to be increasing drasticly in size in my beely

SOunds like you need to get a new doctor. Advising a pregnant woman to lose weight, disregarding your concerns and not even discussing the second placenta with you is appalling.
