Hi.

Hoping I can join your group, but don't know if I'll ever keep up with the fast pace.
Just got my first ever BFP today after two BFN (CD 23 and 28) so I am a little uncertain of how excited I should be getting. I am 4wk5days according to my calculations. I booked in to my GP on Monday not knowing what to expect (a blood test?). I am a little shocked we got pregnant in the first cycle and I am still working out how to use these forums after stalking the TTC#1 for the last month.

:-)

Hi Team April

Lovely to read up on all the newbies. Special shout out to those fabulous 40 something women (Juju - here's to you kid original.gif

I have had heavy bleeding for 3 days now which is doing my head in. Have arranged to work from home tomorrow just to see if that eases things.

Dr Google has been kind with all the positive stories of viable pregnancies with bleeding and I'm holding fast to the fact that we had a heartbeat on Monday

Next scan is Tuesday. Bring it.

Love and hugs

Jess

Hi team April - I love it biggrin.gif

Jess- fx for your little bean ++++++ thoughts xx
Welcome TTC Lovebirds

Agreeing that this board is moving SO fast, it's super hard to keep up! There isn't an iphone app for EB forums is there? Now that would be handy!
Still here, just reading along. Have my GP appointment today to get referral etc. It's all starting to seem very real and exciting original.gif

Oh dear, I really want to do personals but there are just so many now, I have no idea how I would keep up. Apologies in advance for this and future posts!

I looked in the mirror this morning and spotted a telltale little bump... at 6 WEEKS! what is with that??
I tried sucking it in (as you do) and only part of it went away so assuming what is left is in fact a bump.

So of course I HAD to take my first bump photo original.gif I didn't start them until 11 weeks last time so I am way ahead!

Woke up 5 times to pee last night so really tired today. My cat is also incredibly clingy and insists on sleeping on my bed every night. This is not like her at all.

Dating scan on Monday which should have me at 6 + 3. I know my dates but the doc said she would refer me anyway so that everything can be checked.

Just waiting for the letter from the hospital to confirm if they will let me in even though I am not in the area. Fingers crossed!!

Rachiee - How exciting! I said to DH that being PG is so boring. I don't look pregnant yet, I can't drink (I love a nice glass of red in cold weather!) and want to talk about it all the time but think ppl are getting bored of it roll2.gif

That must be tough, can't wait to hear the good news from the scan, glad you're resting up.

I had a freakout yesterday, suddenly realised I hadn't felt sick for two days, immediately thought well this is it, started reassuring myself that I should be thankful cause I already have a son, and this would mean I can drink some wine, and other goosey thoughts etc etc
Should have enjoyed it cause soon enough I was burping my way through the afternoon and actually grabbed the bin quietly under my desk at one point and thought I may just throw up here. Was a relief and I felt like an idiot for worrying.
I also have a bump! Not noticeable to others and I have a little soft belly on top so well hidden anyway but I can definitely feel my uterus getting bigger and harder and starting to protrude. I am going for a promotion at work and don't want anyone there to know till decisions are made so I will have to run out and buy some looser flowing tops to cover my tum.
Booking in the 12 week scan today, that's in about 4 and a bit weeks, and then seeing my OB at 13 weeks. Can't wait to get out of the first trimester!
Also (and I apologise for the long rambling post, I know this thread moves fast and people are busy) is anyone else making their DH's life a living hell? I'm really trying to be nice but I am getting so cranky with all these hormones, I think he's really getting over it. We had a fight last night and we don't argue often, all apologies and kisses this morning but its made me feel glum, he does so much around the house I need to remind myself he is my friend and not the enemy!

Hope you're all well. original.gif
