My Thermoblend arrived today! I am so excited, I haven't opened the box yet because DD is cooking dinner, but as soon as she has it is out on the bench. I have all the ingredients to make a sorbet and will try a risotto tomorrow.

The Thermoblend arrived just after Christmas.
I really want to love it but it seems SO daunting. No recipe booklet confuses things as well. I just dont have the time for trial & error. Looks like it will be returned to KOGAN sad.gif

None of the thermoblends come withe recipe books and the Bellini one isn't much good either. That's ok though, there are heaps of kogan users on the Bellini addicts page, just be scared join the page and within a few days you will be using thermomix recipes like a master chef.

Like today in my Bellini I made my own almond milk and then with the left over ground almonds from the milk I ground up quinoa, brown rice, sunflower Kenna's and a few others things and made the most amazing sugar free whole grain berry muffins. I used recipes from quirky cooking blog.

So happy with myself.

Well, the sorbet was beautiful! Looking forward to my next days off work so i can really start to use it. Need to print off the recipes from Bellini Addicts page and my colleague is bringing in her Thermomix recipe books tomorrow.

Looking forward to the risotto tomorrow night.

Hi, I am just bumping this up as we are looking a buying a food processor since buying Jamie Oliver's 15min cookbooks, I am trying to convince husband that a thermoblend or Bellini would be better, just not sure. Sadly a thermo mix is not in our budget. How is everyone going with their thermoblends? Or Bellini

Thank you.

Has anyone had a look at these?

I'm not sure if I'm loving mine or not! I have been making some lovely Sorbets, which have been great on these hot days we have been having, but the main meals I have done in it have been flops, except for the very first risotto I made.

One of the problems I have with it is that there is no cookbook. I joined the Bellini Addicts group on FB, but I find that even their recipes need to be tweaked a bit.

I have had problems with food burning where the blades are, and it is difficult to get the burn marks off.

I have got three weeks of annual leave coming up, so looking forward to playing with it a bit more then, hopefully I will fall in love with it a bit more!
