hi ladies,

zoe, sorry i haven't replied to your pm, my computer at home is playing up. glad you managed to squeeze in your ivig just in time for your transfer tomorrow. good thing you were able to find out the ivig would still work, what a relief. sounds like a very dull time of lying around all day with a drip. good you're not feeling any major side effects. hope the transfer goes smoothly, you never know. wishing you the BEST of luck that this one takes and sticks.

mitchp, sounds like you and your dp are ready to start.

bjb, any news on af's arrival? what does your doc think?

liltuss, thanks for popping in. i'm not yet ready to pop into the other bg but i do still think of you and some of the others. hope all is going smoothly. yes I am also hoping the metformin helps with the m/c risk but i do have a instinctive feeling something immune is going on.

hi everyone else.

afm, seeing the cardiologist for the resting ECHO tomorrow. my body is slowly getting used to the metformin. i'm still a bit shocked i have this insulin resistance as i don't have PCOS or any signs. i've been very good about my diet, not sure if that will last once i'm back on pred. seeing the reproductive immunologist and regular immunologist next week. my hcg is taking ages to come down. It was 7 last week so had another bt this morning. suprised i have any blood left at this stage plus i look like a heavy drug user, so many needle marks on my arms.

hi all,

Zoe, good luck for your tfr tomorrow - and fingers crossed the ivig has worked to supress the NK cells. Surely these crazy things we do to ourselves have to help.

Spock, sounds like they are making some progress towards answers - but so frustrating. I've got my dates - we're off at the end of April, target EC at the start of May. I did have an anxiety spike when I got the dates and detailed calendar - made it all much more real than signing the contract etc. now all good. there are still a bucket load of drugs to take aren't there - were you on the pill, lucrin, progynova and I think an antibiotic, then steriods and progesterone inj's post tfr? When are you thinking about heading back for a FET?

BJB - yum, anzac biscuits are delish. The countdown to your amazing holiday is definately on! you must be so looking forward to it.

hi mitch - hope you and your DP are going well while you're waiting for the next cycle
liltuss, glad you're still keeping in touch

AFM, trying to have a bit of an exercise burst and do a bit of holiday planning - may as well make the best of having to go to hawaii!

Hi all, just wanted to pop in to say diet or healty eating is going well still. DH has lost 10.5kg and I've lost about 7.5kg. We also had blood tests on Saturday to double check all our stuff before we embark on our 5th cycle. As I only get one decent embryo at the end, I had 12 viles of blood taken on Sat - 12! It was insane and I felt like a pin cushion as she did 11 and then realised after she pulled the needle out she needed one more! Gees!

Otherwise, we are doing well. Thinking of everyone and massive hugs to all. Sorry this is so impersonal, will try to log on later to do inviduals.

Hi everyone, hoping I can come and join you.

Zoe - good luck in your wait after your transfer.

dreams - well done on the weight loss thats amazing. I wish I could loose some weight but I just cant seem to get it to move.

I have been reading back to see where everyone is up to and whats happening.

I would love to move overseas or interstate, actually I would just love to cut contact with everyone thats not immediate family or my husband but dont think that will work. 2 announcements in 3 days from your 2 best friends and only when they are starting show kind of is the last straw.

I am coming to the end of another failed transfer cycle. I had a Lap in February and was just a tad bit hopeful that that might help. Again it didnt. Oh it helped in that the spotting I use to get around dpo10 is now gone and it looks like I am having a normal LP but thats about it.

We just got bank account shock as well from the amount back from medicare for this FET cycle. My DH is furious with the amount we still have to come up with to pay dad back (we use my dads cc to pay for cycles and then pay him back).

So we are going on a break. I have an appt with a new FS & new clinic on 2nd May, I will probably be into the first or second week of the next cycle by then and still on Femara but no big deal. I take Femara as without it I wont O and the FS wanted me on it even when not doing a cycle so I have normal cycle lengths.

I have rung up and asked to go on a cancellation list so hopefully they get something. I have rung my old dr and asked for copies of my IVF cycles so I can take them with me. I have copies of all my bloods at home from Feb and I have photos of my Lap from Feb.

The only thing I cant understand is he said my right tube is completely blocked but he didnt remove it, why leave it? I am starting to think we have implantation issues as on dpo7, or 2dp5dt I had a sore back all day and a really sore throat that cleared up by the next day and my temps have all be consistently good etc but again BFN.......

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you're all enjoying your weekends! Only 4 more days of work then a long weekend ddance.gif Obviously I'm super excited about it because we fly out on Friday!

leebec - welcome! Sorry you've had another unsuccessful cycle. It sucks.... Here's hoping a new FS will be able to change things up a bit and get you the results we all want!!! Sometimes a break is god too. I had a disastrous cycle in January so we decided to take 4 or 5 months off, get my health sorted out and take a holiday. So far, it's done wonders for my head and my heart... and it hasn't hurt our bank account either!

mitch - I guess it's good that your DP doesn't have to sniff synarel! Good luck for this cycle - everything crossed for you!

Zoe - how did your transfer go? Hope the 2ww isn't sending you too insane! Here's hoping the IVIG has had a great impact on your body and your embryo's!

Spock - any news form your doctors - cardiologist, immnologists?? Hope you are well otherwise!

Spring - definitely make a holiday out of it! Hey, relaxing by the beach with a good book certainly wom't hurt the process!

DTR - that's some awesome weight loss results from both of you!! Well done!! cclap.gif 12 vials certainly will take it's toll on you! I had 11 or 12 taken last year, she had to go in 3 times - twice in 1 arm and once in the other because my veins weren't being cooperative and we weren't getting any blood! What was your FS checking for?

So... I'm just holding out for Friday! I'm beside myself excited about our trip... DH finishes up his job on Thursday which is exciting and scary at the same time and then we can just run away - for 5 weeks! It will be so good to get away from the world and relax and have fun together again!

xoxo
BJ

BJ - only 3.5 more days now - wow!! This break will be such a great time for you and your DH to just have fun and do some amazing things. Enjoy!

hi leebec - sorry that you've had to join our group, but glad you found us. We all understand how you feel - I've done a stack of different treatments that seem to have great results, just not for me. : ( Hope you enjoy your month off before meeting with a new FS.

Zoe, how are you doing? hope the 2ww is going ok for you

Dreams, that is fantastic work on the weight loss front - well done! Were you getting all of the immune testing done?? I had a huge number of vials of blood taken for that & had to be on an empty stomach - I passed out after about 8 vials!

hi Mitch and Spock - how is everything with both of you?

I start lucrin this week, which I haven't used before - everything's getting closer which is exciting. I've been on the pill for the last couple of weeks and having bleeding, so not sure what's going on there. hopefully it will settle down soon. work's pretty busy - lot of short weeks now until we go away : )

Hey All being feeling very flat.

Not hopeful at all. I don't even think ivig will help me get my BFP, I dont think anything will help me for that matter. I think it just comes down to the right embryo, even transferring a perfect looking one doesnt mean anything!

I got no symptoms, and i get no symptoms pre af either. The universe really doesnt want me to have a baby, Im sure of that.

Oh Zoe, that sux bbighug.gif

I hope you and your DH can spend some time together over the long weekend - Curl up with a block of chocolate (or other comfort food!) and a bottle of wine and block out the world for a while! It doesn't fix anything, but I do find it helps a little bit. Lots of cuddles too!

Well AF FINALLY showed up... cycle was 46 days! I even stupidly did a HPT at about day 42 - geez I can be dumb some times! Oh well.... I would actually now love another 46 day cycle, as that would get me through my trip with no AF! roll2.gif

Anyway - we fly out tomorrow - first stop Barcelona and surrounds! So much food and wine to be consumed!!!!

I hope everyone has a great, relaxing long weekend and see you all in 5 weeks!!!

xoxo
