Hi,
We are going north in a month to spread pop's ashes in a creek he loved... We opened the boxes last night for the first time cry1.gif we were all expecting silver urns or something that was at least attractive but they are just like plastic boxes with plugs in the top blink.gif ..
Anyway one box is going north to this creek and the other will be spread at a local beach..at pops request..however last night we were discussing another idea..my daughter was bought as a prezzy from where we are going a rice necklace a few years ago.. a piece of rice with her name on it encased in liquid in a necklace and it's really nice..Does anyone know if this can be done with ashes? We would like to have one done for each of the family before we spread the ashes at the creek..
Sorry but I really didn't know where else to post a question like this and was hoping one of u lovely people would know or have heard of some keepsake ideas..
I think Nan thought that she would have nice urns to keep on her mantle, but this isn't the case, which is why this all came to mind. blush.gif
I hope I don't offend anyone or anything unsure.gif

Hi Boe,

I found this site that may be of help, if not for ordering from, then at least for ideas.

Wow, those pendants are great!
I heard of a company (in the US I think) who turn cremated remains into diamonds and then jewellery, but it'd be damn expensive.

Just wanted to say thank you for this link. I was poping on this board to see if there were any suggestions from people to help me with my sister who lost her husband recently and I think these would be perfect for her.

Thank You again!!

Here on ebay you'll find lots of little containers/pendants/jewellery urns - one of them may be what you're looking for.
