Hi to all
Babies can become ill at any hour of the day or night and it is understandable to seek help and advice from the EB community. Whilst sharing and discussing concerns is one of the many benefits of EB we advise you not to rely on advice given on the boards and ask that you seek health and medical advice if you are concerned about the health of your baby. All State and Territory Governments provide 24 hour phone access to Health and Medical Advice from a Registered Nurse. Advice is available for babies, children and adults of all ages. This service is not intended to replace a consultation with a Doctor but is ideal when you are unsure as to the seriousness of your baby's condition and you would benefit from talking with a health professional. See below for a list of the contact numbers and details for these 24 hour help-line services within Australia.
