For those looking to have a 9th seat installed in the Hyundai Imax

Hi We just purchased a Hyundai Imax and were researching getting a 9th seat installed into it. Well their is 2 options available: 1. Purchase a used Iload bench seat and have it installed with a cost of approx $320.00 for the used seat (From a wreckers) plus $600.00 for a qualified fitter to install it and provide compliance plates to say it has been turned into a 9 seater. Downside to this is the middle seat is a lap belt only. 2. Their is now a "Jump seat" that can be custom made to fit in between the driver and passanger seat with a lap sash seat belt at a cost of $1800.00, Fully fitted with comliance plates and you can have the fabric matched to your existing seats We are doing the second option as I think it is the safest option with a full lap sash seat belt. We wont use the front seat very often as our eldest is about to get her licence but it will be good to have it their for the odd times we go out as a family. Anyway, I just thought I would let everyone know their options.
