Mummaorange you'll have to ask them directly about the drip. I did ask the midwives at my hospital they said one Ob will allow a very small amount, my Ob said if they can't break the waters it's straight off for a csection. I don't think it is ruled out but depends on your Ob.

I had an induction with a catheter (foley's) thru my cervix and a balloon blown up which got me a few cms dilated. Then they could break my waters... worth asking?

Also a good acupuncturist if you like/have access to that sort of thing.

No.

And I tried everything including the oil, clary sage and every other thing anyone had ever said might help.

My waters broke about 5 hours after my Ob said conditions weren't favourable for a S&S, but I ended with an emergency c/s anyway.

Good luck original.gif

I wasn't overdue for either of my pregnancies but really wanted my babies to be born before a hoard of my DH rellies arrived. Both times the night before their due dates I kept talking to them and telling them it was time to come out. Popped out babies the next day...coincidence? possibly but I do believe in the power of the mind. I was desperate to have these children before everyone arrived!
Goodluck and enjoy your last part of your pregnancy!
