Hiya,

With my first son, we had only been actively "trying" for a month and fell.

With son #2, same thing...

However with baby #3, it took us 9+ months, lots of OPK and HPTs before we got it. I also had a Blighted Ovum in that time too.

That said, that is pretty average as I have read here some ladies trying for years.

Good luck with your TTC.

Me....5 times!!

#1 we decided to try (ignorant to all things TTC)
2 weeks later a BFP...beautiful DS

#2 decided when I got AF back we would start that month, BFP that cycle...m/c @ 8weeks

#3 waited for AF after having D+C, jumped back into it right away BFP that cycle...beautiful DD

#4 decided when I got AF back we would start that month, BFP that cycle...m/c @ 9weeks

#5 waited for AF (was actually hoping to fall, but DH was interstate at O time so knew we were out), had the one AF after D+C then BFP that cycle....hoping this one sticks... hands.gif

So yes it does happen! However, with the first 2 I was VERY ignorant to TTC, the last three I have charted with the works, temp, OPKs, CM, CP and O pain and have been very fortunate to fall 1st time every time, didn't make the journey any easier, but I do feel very blessed.

All this being said, do not put pressure on yourself, you can still have perfect timing, perfect sperm, perfect everything and it still doesn't work. Mother Nature has her way of making sure she is in control.

Good Luck
Ky

Can't work out how to put a ticker here...
Yes me...

DS was a bit of a suprise package, coming after i missed 1 pill.

I then fell again the first month when TTC #2 but sadly ended in a M/C.

I fell again straight after the M/c to have DD.

This time it took 3 months.
