My little dude (16 months tomorrow) said no to his bedtime BF today. Didn't want cuddles or songs, just wanted to lie down in his cot and have a little chat to himself.
The morning feed drifted away a week or so ago. I always said I'd feed until he stopped on his own. I'm so happy I was able to. |

My LO is 13 month and i am enjoying those morning/bedtime feeds as I know it wont be long till she does the same. It is such a bittersweet feeling. |

aww Well done on reaching 16 months, my 15 mth old seems like he is never going to give up, some days I am over it and wish he'd hurry up and wean, others I still enjoy our snuggles and know I will be sad when he stops.

It does feel a bit sad but good on you you know you've really done your best. It's hard not to feel a bit rejected though. hugs to you!
