Report bad grammar and spelling ring 1800 bite me
I know it has me.

Before I joined I thought nothing about take-away food, naked children, twins, pregnant woman, conception etc.

Now

I tsk tsk when I see kids eating McDonalds. Yes mine eat it but in the privacy of our own home so no-one can see.

Naked Children at the beach - good lord no. That's disgusting. Perverts might be waiting to pounce.

Twins/multiples - can'y comment how cute they are for fear of offending their parents.

Pregnant woman - too scared to even mention they are pregnant in case they aren't enjoying it or I'm the 100th person to ask that day.

Babies - too scared to look at them in case I'm gawking.

Conception - wouldn't dare ask in a million years if someone is trying, thinking or in case they just don't want children.

Oh and don't get me started on judging those who aren't breastfeeding, MCN wearing, co-sleeping type parents

Oh and before anyone has a tanty - it's just a Tongue in cheek good fun, having a joke type post.

Why call it "common" sense when it is so rare?
I have never forgotten a poster who vented about a person behind her moving a couple of her (OP's) groceries a little further up on the checkout belt so that she could make more room for her own. I think the vent was titled "Don't touch my groceries!"
I am so careful now!
Many more things though. This one just comes to mind!

I find it an interesting portal into an alternate universe and view of how the 'other half' live.

Off to find appropriate flouncing shoes.

EB gave me Los of great info when I needed it but it continues to tell me things about yoghurt I don't wish to believe,

It IS healthier than ice cream dammit. AND it's a breakfast food.

Only in regard of scary birth stories, and strangers touching small babies and giving them colds. However I am pretty sure that is just generic first time Mum-to-be stuff.

As far as being judged in public you just really have to ask yourself how highly you value the opinions of others. I am sure those who judge have things about them that others would scoff at.

No, but it's made me realise how many people on EB are completely paranoid.

Ask me about my cats
Not paranoid exactly, but I was blissfully unaware of the horrible number of 'oodle' mutts out there before EB educated me. I work in a trendy suburb and I see lots of them every day and it makes me sad.

No, I find it oddly reassuring.

I've also learned a heap about things I knew nothing about.
