Hi Ladies,
Dolcengabbana - Hope it all goes to plan for you. good luck. Allie - woo hoo - once the first one is down, the rest will be smooth sailing. Don't forget too that if you are finding the spot a little stingy, to put a 20c piece in the freezer and pop on the spot before you do it and it numbs it a bit. Hopeless - hope everything is okay for you now and it isn't too hot. Hillplain - wishing you the best of luck with the transfer. Sometimes we just have to do what we have to do. This is more important. My FS wants my next stim cycle to be a Day 5 and I am scared. STL - I did Acupuncture for my last cycle, hope it helps with you, I didn't find it to help to much for me but others have sworn by it. Bwok - glad that you can start another cycle as soon as AF arrives. It is nervous to get back on the horse so to speak, so I wish you the very best with it. AFM: So yesterday I went into have another scan, I was getting pains in my left ovary, so I did a LH test before I went and got a positive ?? So I said to the nurse, the other day when I came in Day 12, the nurse said I was no way near Oing but I have this and pain, so she did the scan on another machine and low and behold I am Oing and my follicle is ready and so is my lining, don't know what the other stupid nurse was looking at. So I have my FET on Sunday if all goes well and thaws. I am trying to not think of it actually and this time I have told no one. Only my DH and I know about it and luckily the transfer is on a Sunday and I don't have to tell work. One Step at a time....small steps. |

QUOTE Allie- Yay you made it through the first needle. Its amazing what we can do when we have too. I am on the same cycle day as you and was so excited to start jabbing last night. Sorry NFP- I just read your post and immediatly thought 'Where else on earth would I ever read about other women who are excited to be sticking themselves with needles?" Oh the irony of it all. If we were teenagers (Please forgive me if some of you are...) we'd be carted off to the mental heath unit for 'wanting to hurt ourselves and starting an internet site that encourages it. BWOK BWOK- I can't imagine what your feeling now. I hope the future has good things in store for you. Amber Spark- Guess you know your body better than anyone else. Glad you have an exciting weekend planned now. AllieD- Good on you. You are my inspiration at the moment. STL- I had Accupunture for my IUI. It was relaxing, but that's about all I can say. I know of women who say it was what made the difference for them. I don't think it can do any harm and maybe if your rundown it might be what you need. hillplain- Good luck! 2 to transfer is still 2. Better than none. I hope you get good news. Dolcengabbana- Cute! Now we can be aquaintences in heat and IVF Sorry if I missed someone. The heat is still messing with me. Well, I have information overload and have just come home with the most expensive coolbag I've ever seen, filled with instruments of torture. And I'm sort of happy about it. I am going to try the 20 cents in the freezer. The nurse today who was lovely never mentioned it. But she assured me I was going to be fine. I am actually not a big woose, but 2 days ago I had a mole cut out of my back (figured I would be it out of the way before I started IVF) and the needles are still very much in my mind. Yeowww! Anyway, No Pain No Gain. So last Pill tommorow and injections start in 5 days. As was said, small steps |
