Tyler Matthew arrived on 27th of Feb, and has almost exactly the same stats as his birthday buddy Wesley original.gif
3.19kg, 51cm long, 34cm HC.

I was induced, but needed an emergency c-section 5hours later when Tylers heart rate slowed too much and wouldn't come back up. He was fine as soon as he was pulled out.

We have been home for a few days now, all is going well, except for 2 hourly feeds which I'm finding exhausting!!!

Congratulations on the birth of Tyler Matthew, MummyLinz!!!! I hope that you are recovering well from the C/S. It is very scary when the heart rate starts to slow during labour. I hope that you are able to get some rest in between the feeds.

11days later I can now annouce the birth of my baby as now he finally has a name..

defintely not the birth I had planned and still trying to deal with that but he is a dream baby and we are all totally smitten wub.gif

Sorry you didn't get the birth you wanted. I saw your response to my post about clexane injections (haven't got back to post there blush.gif) and it sounds like you have had an awful time sad.gif . I hope that you are doing ok. bbighug.gif

Thanks ladies - he's a tad cute *if i do say so myself* lol

Alby got his name because we just couldn't agree on a name and neither of us were budging on our favs (DP Alex & me Kobe) so we combined the two and came up with Alby, plus it's now been brought to our attention there was an Alby Mangels?

Yea nayjay - not the best end to the pregnancy but at the end of the day the goal was healthy mum and bub and that's what we got. I'm just trying to deal and process all that has happened to get closure atm .. He's a dream baby, feeds perfectly and most nights only wakes once from 9pm to 5am! We dont hear peep out of him until he's naked, he loves the bath and has slipped into our lives like he'd always been here <3 it's taken 4 babies but I finally got a quite and good sleeper *touch wood* lol!!

Hi naysay -sorry been ages since I have been on EB. Um now where we're you at with my twins. Basically we are at week 10 today. Angus is doing really well and weighs 5 kg and is travelling along the 25 percentile. Milou has been in at the Royal Children's Hospital since birth. She finally had her moped heart surgery last Tuesday and it went really well. They were going to send her home today but she is not feeding very well at the moment we expect her to comef home on Monday -yay. Her weigh is 2.5kg but generally she is doing really well. After 10 weeks we are over going to the hospital. Thomas our 2 yo has been diagnosed with developmental delay due to his speech and eating issues so we have managed to get him on the early intervention service that Milou is in due to her down syndrome so at least they can review us as a family as opposed to individual children.
