I'm in the process of setting up a new Playgroup in Denistone East. We will be operating from the Uniting Church Hall in Acacia Street Eastwood (near Midway Shops) on Tuesday mornings. It will be open to all age groups - my son is 10 months old but we already have 2 year olds as well.

We are hoping the first session will be 8 March - just depends on the lease being signed etc. There is currently a playgroup run in the same location on Thursday's, which is full, which is why we've decided to start a new one.

We are calling ourselves Denistone East Community Playgroup and have set up a facebook page with this name. If you are interested in joining us, please send me a pm. I can add you to our list and confirm the start date.

I attend a Play Group in Blacktown NSW if any one is interested in attending.

Location: Alpha Street Hall, Alpha Street (across from Westpoint Shopping Centre).
Time: Every Monday morning from 9.30am - 11.30am.
Cost: $3 per week first child, $5 per week for 2 children. If 2nd child is under 12 months they are free till they turn 1 year old.
This pays for rental of the hall, a paid outing and a keepsake craft per school term.
Ages: Currently we have children ranging from 1 - 4 year old but any age is welcome. It is great for the children to play together and the parents to have a chat and get advice.

Your first 2 visits are free to see if you like it. After your 2 week trial, you must join the Play Group Association at a cost of $39 per year. Joining gives you discounts at various places all over Australia.

I am looking for a playgroup in Tempe/St Peters area. I am unable to attend those in Marrickville. I have a 3 month old baby boy.

Does anyone know of any? Would love to meet up with some other local mums and bubs.
