2 days ago we put the sold sticker on the unit we bought and have lived in for 4 1/2 years

and last night we signed the contract on our family home!! ddance.gif

I am so excited and nervous and just on top of the world!!

I am also sad because the until we sold we bought before we were engaged. We came home from our honeymoon to this home, bought our daughter home from hospital and celebrated so many wonderful occasions.

Our new place is absolutely perfect and the owner who is downsizing was lovely and is including his 8 seater outdoor dining set and big 4 burner hooded bbq!!!

And the best news??!

Once we settle and move in, I plan to resign from the job I despise and have another baby

And finally..... we sold for MORE than we BOUGHT!!!

Oh, I understand that feeling so very well.

The house we are selling has similar memories for us:
- we got the keys just before our first anniversary, so there was a special celebration of that event after living in a one-room granny flat at my paents for the start of our marriage.

- we brought four babies home to that house.

- we cried and celebrated in that house, together.

And that last point is what I will take with me most - we were together there, and we will be together in our new house where we will continue to make memories.

Congratulations of the speedy sale of your unit and purchase of your first "family home". May the moving go smoothly!

We sold in pascoe vale for below our reserve sad.gif but I negotiated a good price for a house in Craigieburn.

It does pay to work in sales!

Congrats Rachiee. It's so exciting that not only are you changing your home but your lives as well.

I know how you feel about leaving your unit. I've been in the house I'm in now for 15 years. It's hard to think about moving now because this place has been with me through the biggest events in my life.

Can we see photos of the new house???
