Great News

Posted by marksgirl, 05/07/2012, 12:41 PM

After being so disappointed last month I had convinced myself that I wasn't going to be pregnant this month either, the boy had been sick and it just seemed that the timing wasn't right, but we had talked about how lovely it would be to conceive on our holiday next week.
Friday came and went with no period, however I wasn't getting my hopes up, however on Saturday I took a test and it was negative, I actually wasn't that surprised and didn't even tell the boy. By Monday night I was feeling pretty crappy but just thought it was PMS until the boy mentioned that I was late, didn't even realise he was that intune with the times, I told him about the negative test and said if it still didn't come in the next few days I would take another.

The next day I was feeling sick all day, so bit the bullet and took another test, hiding out in my office, expecting no result. To my greatest excitement, slowly that second pink line appeared, and then seemed to disappear, but then was there again.

Smiling, I wondered what to do next, should I ring the boy or wait until i got home... Instead I went to Myer, brought the smallest cutest outfit to wrap and leave on his pillow when he got home, my way to tell him.
Let's just say the smile on his face said it all
