Ready Set Go!

Ok so today we had our appointment with the nurse co-ordinator at our IVF Clinic. Wow what a lot of info to take in. I am so glad that i have been reading up on the whole ICSI prosess before hand so i at least could understand everything she was explaining. Our FN was such a lovely lady and really explained everything including the injections, the cycle, blood test's ect ect.

Last month i was admitted to hospital with severe pain in my side, after many scans ect it was decided to do a laprascopy and have a look. The surgeon did a cystectomy on my right ovary and removed an abdominal adhesion. It was suspected that i had another cyst that had burst and the fluid from the cyst had found its way up into my abdomen near my spleen casuing a bit or irritation and the pain i had. So as a result of this and now having cyst free "clean" ovaries it was decided to go ahead with ICSI next cycle instead of waiting to September as planned.

So today i got my drugs bag full of my Gonal F pen's and needles and lots of information to come home with. I am super excited to not have to wait any longer and that we are finally "trying to conceive".

Now i just have to wait for AF to start next week and i can jump on board with jabbing... biggrin.gif

Wooohooooo ddance.gif
