Well how quickly time has flown.

This time 2 years ago, we were thinking of having surgery to help fall pregnant, and organising our wedding.

We decided not to have surgery so close to our wedding, and what a wonderful wedding we had.

Wedding over and done with we had to wait to organise the surgery and finally that went ahead on 5th October 2005. We started our first round of clomid on 1 November 2005, this was unsucessful, then we had our second round on 1 December 2005, I was very blessed and fell pregnant second time round, what a wonderful christmas present.

SO we went through the first 12 weeks wondering how all was going to have an abnormal nt scan, this ended up requring an amino, which I was lucky to have a great news that your ok. So we had an uneventful rest of our pregnancy, until I left work at 36 weeks and got Bells Palsy, lucky my cousin had told me about it a few days before hand that she had had it otherwise I would have freaked. So steroid were needed for that, I couldn't talk properly and had no feeling on the left side of my face. Well at 39 week appointment I was 3 cm diliated and asked to be induced...

Well Dh made the decision on wednesday to evict Lachlan out of his cot.

I came home from work the cot was gone and the single bed was put up in his place. I knew the time was coming but I wasn't ready for it. Dh knew I wouldn't have done it anytime soon and took the stance of doing it himself.

Lach took to the bed very well, he is still in our room as the house isn't big enough for him to go into his room (storage room now)so I feel a little more at ease with this.

4 days before he turns 2 he goes into his big bed.

Love you Lach your my world.

xxx Mumma

Another milestone

http://www.essentialbaby.com.au/forums/index.php?autocom=blog&blogid=3643&showentry=48624

Well how quickly time flies. Little man is getting so clever, last week he increased his words, now he says, mum, dad, brother, Connor, nanna, Opa, Dog and hello. He is only just 10 months old.. This week he learnt to clap I say to him clap hands clap hands and his face lights up and he starts to clap

Lach also got another tooth today, he's been teething all week and had 40degree temps from it, and funny enough it's not a tooth I would imagine to come at this stage, it's the right top eye tooth, he doesn't have his top 2 teeth yet..

It's only one week until I go back to work, Day care has been arranged and we are introducing him next week, have asked DH to have a later start time on the 6th August as I am sure I'm gonna lose it Lach has only been out of my sight for longer than an hour once since I had him, and that was with a friend that I trust whole heartedly. Dh hasn't even had him longer than that.. I went into work today, he charmed the pants off everyone.. I kept getting the whole when r u coming back.. It was so sad, they have even put my desk together already...

I don't want to go back!!!!!!

Well last night I told dh I want to try again around december, we were at coles looking at there discontinued lines and they had fortel ovulation kits and preg test in one box for $5.00, I picked them up and told him straight.. He didn't object... I know he wants another I just wish it was now I don't want a big age difference between Lach and this baby and I also told him I don't want Lach growing up as an only child so to speak, even though he has Connor, it is only 4 days a month.. So essentially it is like he is an only child.. So now I have to get my big fat butt into gear and lose some weight... make an appointment to see my gp, get some metaformin and then get a referral to my Ob to get a script for clomid as I know it won't be a miracle baby...

So goals for the next month..

1. Start walking daily
2. Eat better - no more chocolate
3. Better frame of mind - stay positive..

Well I'm really annoyed at the moment, everything seems to be upsetting me.

1. Housecleaning - no sooner have I found some order, DH comes home, leaves everything everywhere.. I am not his mother and I'm getting so bad that I refuse to pick up from him, then he gets p*ssed off for a messy house, so I had a go at him and said stop leaving your junk around....

2. Money - we never seem to have enough money, I go back to work in 4 weeks and then we will only bring home an extra 150 after daycare fees come out a fortnight, but I can't give up my job as I am the main income earner, DH is p*ssed off cause he can't support me and allow me to be a sahm.

3. DH ex - I am so sick and tired of her ruling our lives.. She is the f**king ex for goodness sake.. Hello back in April we asked to have DSS for extra couple of days, its now school holidays 4 days away from change over and still no answer.

4. Holidays - suppose to be going away, can't afford it now...

5. Friends - why am I the only one that calls???

Well back in my box now I go.... At least I got that out..

Well I can't believe I didn't mark a milestone with Lachlan...AHHHH hello just re-read and I did

He got his first tooth on the 13th June 2007, it is the bottom left as we look at him. He didn't show any signs of teething, except one dirty horrible nappy.

The second tooth came through on Saturday 30th June 2007. Again we didn't even know he was teething until it cut through, this time though he refused to sleep.. So much for the new routine.. So my little fella has 2 teeth now.. At least he has stopped biting..

God Damn Work

Well I have finally heard from my manager and to say I'm p*ssed off is an understatement.

The big T, yep we are family friendly, like hell you are.

I asked if I could have a longer lunch break as Lach doesn't take a cup or bottle, so I will need to go and feed him. No can't do that, that's not what a lunch break is for.. How the hell do you know what others use there breaks for???

So can I do a split shift?? Umm don't know, will get back to you. 3 weeks later, no can't do that either..

So now I'm going back to work 5 days a week for 5 hours a day, only now I have to decide whether or not to work mornings or afternoons. I'm leaning towards mornings, 8.30 - 1.30 will need to discuss with childcare though. That will allow Lach to have a set routine with breakfast and lunch and also a nap time, so when I pick him up, it can be our time, daddy will come home, feed, bath bed.. It makes more sense, or if I went afternoons, 12 -5 he would miss out on lunch at day care and DH can pick him up early if he finishes early, but then that is no set routine.. So in a bit of a pickle about that...

Now all I have to do is work out how much I will earn to call centerlink and estimate our wages for rebate on childcare.. Wish me luck !!!

Well I went and dropped Buzz off at Connor's childcare centre, it is such a nice daycare and I only wish it was closer to where we live, it took me about 45 min to get there, admittent that I did get lost took the wrong turn and had to back track, so it would have maybe been alittle shorter, only estimated taking the 15 min off. Spoke with his director and asked how the testing was going couldn't tell me much.. Oh well will just wait and see.

I then went and spent some time with a friend from EB and her children and another mum came over, it was so lovely catching up with them and seeing how much the kids have grown. Thank you for a wonderful day.

As I was leaving DH called to say he was finishing early and could we look at daycares for Lachie. I called work to find out what was going on with them and they said, I couldn't do a split shift I will have to go part time for the time being until Lach drops his lunch feed. So it will be 5 hours a day for 5 days a week..

So we went to 2 daycare centres, the first one, I was very relaxed at. I liked that they weren't pushing me to make him full time there and that I could feed him there no problems at all.

The second one has sentimental reasons for DH his grandparents owned the house that the child care centre has been made into, year and years ago and His father grew up there. THe women was so pushy saying that even if I left him 5 hours it would be classified as full time so I might as well put him in there full time.. Dh was standing there and said to me, god she is pushy, so I think it will be the original one now.

I also have to check with work on how much I will earn and find out the childcare rebate we will be entitled too..

Well today I'm meeting up with Connor's god mother my close friend who is about to have her new bub.. I'm so excited for her and can't wait to go baby shopping..
