Same old, Same old

Posted by CadburyGirl, 25/04/2009, 09:43 PM

Just for the sake of it, I thought I'd put an entry in my diary! It's been around a year since I've been on EB. To be honest, I just don't have much time to do stuff I want these days.

A lot has changed since my last entry, but one thing stays the same. The job front, and lack of prospects. My lovely employer sacked my late January and gave me 4 weeks notice. Reason - I moved and they thought they'd get in before me and fired me. Real nice. Anyway, I am so much happier since being away from them, however I still don't have a job. Not the best time to really be looking.

So now we have moved out of Sydney, and moved about 1.5 hours away. Our quality of life is so much better. Of an afternoon on the weekend we might take a drive (a short drive) to a local beach, and I'll take my camera along and see what photos I can get. We just would never had done that sort of stuff in Sydney. Mr Mr loves having a backyard too. After 4 months, he seems to have finally settled, and is doing well at his new kindy. That has only been a very recent development, seeing as he only attends 2 days per week, and they aren't consecutive days either. Now we just need some new friends. I'm back at uni studying too, which I really am enjoying, for 3 days a week.

Well that's all for now, not sure when I will be back again, but it's nice to make an appearance!
