Hi everyone  original.gif
Congratulations to everyone!
Roodledoo Im so sorry for your loss.
DH and I have a  3.5 year old son William and we have been TTC for a while now. We had a MC in March which was devastating but we got back into TTC straight away and surprisingly it happened really quickly! I did a test last Tuesday evening because I was feeling so nauseous and it cam back positive! I wasn't even late at that stage! Ive done about 7 or so tests haha and all positive  biggrin.gif Yesterday I went and had my bloods taken and will get the confirmation later today. Very excited but also very nervous and worried because of the MC earlier this year I'm just a bit scared it might happen again  unsure.gif

Hi All,

I am a newbie to this thread. I have just moved over from Assisted Conception. We have been TTC#1 for 4 years and after all of the heartbreaking BFN HPTs have had 4 BFP's in the last week. BT confirmed BFP last Tues and have had a second today. Results tomorrow from that and then another BT next monday and a US 1st week July. This was our first go at IVF ICSI HA so have been so very lucky as we have no frozen embys either.

EDD is 16/2/12 if you could add me in next time that you update.
Feeling queesy most of the day and night which based on family history is not at all surprising. Other than that all good. No spotting just slightly tender boobs and that's it.

Look fowards to sharing your jouneys with you all!

hi everyone.

hope you are all well, roodledoo im so sorry for your loss.

went to dr today, first appt since realising i was pregnant  and i feel pretty deflated sad.gif know its my 2nd baby but im still just as excited as i was first time round and i kind of expected that i would at least be congratulated!

when dr found out it was my 2nd baby and my 1st son was 22 months she said ugh your brave! what a thing to say!! i dont know this doctor ive never seen her before but still sheesh! its not like the gap is even that close he'll be 2.5 when the baby is born, wouldnt that be the average age gap?!

im struggling with keeping it a secret! who else is waiting til 12 weeks? with ds1 we told our family at 6 weeks cos we were too excited! this time round we're trying to keep it a secret but damn its hard, i feel guilty lol

well thats my little speel for this arvo hope you're ll having  great day x

Hello all,

Congrats and welcome to the new ladies.

roodledoo - I'm sorry for your loss, be gentle to yourself at this time.

LittleJacksonOne - I seem to have been missed on the due date list.  Going by online calculators I'm due on the 18th but I have a scan next Monday so it could change.

mumatelle - I always said I wanted to keep this pregnancy a secret for 12 weeks, as with my son we had to rush and tell because my mum was terminally ill, but gees its hard.  I already want to tell everyone (well at least family), so I don't think I will last the 12 weeks.  Maybe next week after we have the early scan.

Well we are meant to be at the fertility specialist appointment today but of course are not...lol.  I'm really dreading the phone calls in the next few days asking us how it went, what did the specialist recommend this time....lol.  It is going to be very hard not to spill the beans.

Hi All,

Little Jackson one, I am due on the 11th if you can add me too!
Roodledoo, sorry about your loss, it is so hard, I am still so nervous about this pregnancy because of the mc.

MC has reared it's head right on cue, so sick, and just want to sleep!

I think people will start guessing as I am usually thin and my bum and tummy have just popped, so I'm sure I'll get asked soon! Lucky we are driving to qld this weekend for 2 weeks then 1 more week of holidays then by the time the kids get back to school I wil be 10 weeks!

well done Hill blain, what a journey you have had, congratulations!
Becstarinator and mumatelle, it si hard to keepit quiet, just go with what you think. I have told a few close friends, but will try and hold out as long as I can. Really, as soon as the kids know everyone will know:)

Hope everyone is well!

Hi Everyone biggrin.gif

I have been super busy since finding out I was pregnant so I sometimes forget that I am...let alone have time to jump back in here!

Keeping it a secret/Telling ~ I have told two good friends and don't plan to tell anyone else until after the 12-13 week scan. We will tell our 6yr old son next then all the parents and the rest of the family biggrin.gif As I work in Family Day Care though I will be telling any new clients before they sign with me, I just don't think it's fair to let them start with me knowing they will only get six or less months before I leave them! The rest of my clients who have all been with me for quite awhile now I will tell after telling family.

Can we change my due date to Valentines Day~14th Feb next update please biggrin.gif Apparently this is my EDD....at least until a scan says otherwise!

Client coming better get off EB!

Talk again soon ladies wink.gif

LittleJacksonOne - thanks, my scan went well!  One happy little bub, in the right spot, lovely steady heartbeat!  Not as far along as I thought though, so my EDD has changed to the 8th of Feb.
I've also had a lingering nausea - no actual vomiting though.

Anyway, just a quick one, gtg!

Hi All,

I have come over from the assisted conception, my partner and I have been trying for our first child together for the last 2 1/2 years and after one cycle of IUI we have come away with a BFP.  Which is amazing and completing unbelievable.

I have a daughter to my ex husband, which we conceived in 4 months so having to wait so long, makes it feel like it was never going to happen.

So with this positive we are both so excited but also waiting for our first scan in a couple of weeks I think once this happens it will feel a lot more real.

My EDD is the 18th Feb 2013.

I had my dating scan today and it puts me at 10th Feb
Strong heartbeat 144bpm.

First sign of morning sickness today. Like LittleJacksonOne, i'm feeling yuck

leisamd - glad to hear your scan went well

welcome to Hillplain and Singlesunflower!

Stanzy - nice pic!

Good luck for all those others having US's.

Ms has really hit. I had a lunchtime meeting that has antipasto provided which is usually yum, but not only is it all off the approved list when pg, but I was fighting not to have to leave and vomit through the whole meeting. I eventually left early.... after getting some pretty funny looks... I suspect I was a nice shade of green....

LittleJacksonOne - can you add #2 and DD2 to the list. Ta.

Hi ladies

I'm moving over from the TTC threads! Got my first ever BFP.gif on Thursday!

I had an appointment with my GP today and got a referral to the obstetrician and my EDD is 20 Feb 2013!

I'll read over the previous thread soon to catch up on everyone's stories!
Congrats to you all, and looking forward to sharing this exciting time with you!

Hey everyone,
Been too exhausted to get on and post, sorry! I'm falling asleep by dinner time every night (being woken by coughing children in the night not helping), but other than that no MS yet original.gif I think I'm due 18th Feb, my doctor says 9th, so I'll have a scan on 9th July to check my dates... I should be about 8 weeks by then.
Slowly getting my head around being pregnant, still can't quite believe it! We were planning to not have any more kids for at least three years as I'm supposed to be working so we can save for a house deposit. The biggest thing on my mind now is ow am I going to fit three carseats in the back of a Mazda 3?! The lease doesn't expire for two and a half years, so we are pretty much stuck with it. Been googling 'skinny carseats' and freaking out LOL.
Hope everyone is traveling well and not too overcome by morning sickness. I've had gestational diabetes with my last two pregnancies so am expecting to be diagnosed with it again at 12 weeks, so I'm enjoying eating whatever I like until then!

Congrats Bells on your BFP - first one! So exciting, eh?
H xx

After lurking in here for about two weeks I thought I'd pop in and introduce myself. I'm pregnant with a very unplanned third baby but after a few weeks to digest the information I'm starting to get the odd small moment of excitement about this whole crazy situation. I calculate my EDD as the 15th of February.

This pregnancy is very different to my previous two pregnancies so far and I am a bit unnerved by that. No morning sickness yet and I am tired but no more than to be expected with everything that is going on around me at the moment. I think a few pages ago someone was asking about VBACs and hopefully this will be VBAC number 2 for me. There used to be a really good support thread in the VBAC forum, I might see if I can find it and bump it up.

I look forward to sharing this journey with you.

Thanks hitchicken, I'm very excited.

I hope you find a skinny car seat! Do you think you'll be able to get one skinny seat and still use your current seats for #1 and #2, or will you have to go skinny all round?

Hi, Im new to the site, and new to the thread, but here I am. Im due with my 4th bub on the 27th of feb.
Im very surprised to be here so soon, but even more surprised at the symptoms Im already experiencing. Surely it cant be in my head? Nausea, dizziness, hunger yet not, headaches, tiredness, smells are full on, and bloating to the point that my pants are uncomfy.
Its really spinning me out and am wondering if Im totally nuts!
Anyway, glad to meet you all and look forward to joining you on your journey.

Hi ladies, have been lurking the last couple of days but now I'm moving in biggrin.gif Very definite  BFP.gif this morning. Due date roughly 23rd I think.

This is baby #2, DD is 2 in August. Also, just to let you know, I suck at keeping up in these things original.gif

Hi Everyone + Welcome to the newbies!!   biggrin.gif

Thought I would stop in and say hi,  so many bubba's due in February!!!

Is anyone having their bub at RPA?   I will be having my third bub there, great hospital for those who will be birthing for the first time at RPA - Midwives are lovely.   I love my OB too - just so happy that I got in with him again before he retires!

Going for my Dating Scan tomorrow and cannot wait!!    my dates put me at 7 weeks exactly tomorrow so will be interesting to find what the scan puts me at.

For those of you who are having your 3rd bub - do you already have a hard bump?   don't remember having it until around 12 weeks with DD!

MS is here in full force too - I keep telling myself that it is a GOOD sign.   But Ewwwwww!!

Oh - the carseat, we just bought our daughter a Safe & Sound Hi Liner they are about $170 and are FANTASTIC!   We have a Subaru Forester which is quite a 'skinny' car and researched the best car seat both safety and size wise and were not dissapointed.

I am surprised and delighted to be able to join this DIG!

I have a 13 month old DD and we were thinking about trying for #2 from late July/August onwards. I was feeling a little light headed and have been feeling a tiny bit ill the past few days so did a test last night (on my way out, which was not the best idea) and it came up +!, so I did another just to check, the same again. So now off to the GP for confirmation. I suspect I am only very early on as the lines were fainter than with my last pregnancy (but I only found out at 6 weeks), fingers crossed.

Hello all!!
I am new to this site! After reading the last 18 pages - I thought its about time i joined..Haven't quite worked out all the DD , DS etc. yet but I'm sure I'll catch on..
This is my husband and My first pregnancy.. We have been trying since our wedding day in February 2011 and now expecting around the 13th to 19th ( our anniversary ). We are having first scan next Wednesday because my periods are irregular ranging from 33-45 days. Really can't wait to ease my mind that this isn't all a dream praying everyday to see that little heart beat!!
I didn't realize we were pregnant I had become so use to doing tests and being negative it's taken me a while to believe it!
My symptoms have been EMOTIONAL , sore boobs, slight cramps , fatigue and a little nausea but mainly of a night !!
My deepest sympathies go out to the ladies in previous posts who lost their bub's hoping you all have support and that will have a sticky bub soon..

I'm looking forward to joining the Facebook group as well my name is Tenneile..
Fingers crossed for a lot of feb sticky babies!! Can't wait to see more pics and scan results.
P.s. anyone from the Newcastle, maitland or lake Macquarie area??
I need some advice on a good GP the doc I went to for first scan was very rude not once said congratulations n definitely didn't settle my worried mind!!

Hi ladies and welcome to the newbies!! I hope your bubs are sticky critters!!
So it's back to the doctors for me tomorrow. I had an absolutely horrendous experience last friday so trying a different doctor this week. Hoping for someone with a little basic medical training this time.. (because you are right doctor - EVERY woman ovulates on day 14) Hoping also to see little seed and maybe even a heartbeat?

I think I've been pretty lucky in the EPS department so far. I have huge and sure boobs, but apart from that, nothing really.. I had cramps for the first week or so along with dizziness but that all seems to have gone now. although my sense of smell is definitely beginning to heighten.

Hope everyone is well!!
