OK to give just milk when sick?

DS is 13 months. He has a bit of a nasty cold. For the last few days he's been refusing most foods. He is a bit of a milk addict though and still wants his bottles. When he isn't sick I have to limit his milk intake as if he had it his way it would be the only thing he'd have. Given he's sick, do you think it is OK just to let him have milk until he gets better?

I've done it when DS has been sick. Prefer him to eat but if he isn't going to I can't force him too. I feel better knowing that at least there is something in his stomach. I don't see a problem with it.

I think it's fine
However I would still offer normal meals at normal times, maybe just smaller portions. I wouldn't wait for him to get better before offering normal foods again. Try to keep him in his normal routine of sitting & having meals even if he doesn't eat, if he's a bit fussy when he's not sick then I would worry that not keeping the routine when he is sick will make things worse when he is feeling better again.
My kids like things like yoghurt, custard, jelly and tinned pears when they have colds/sore throats.
Hope your little one is feeling better soon

Do you have any of those Raffertys pouches in the pantry OP?
DS will usually always suck on half of one if he's refusing his meals due to illness or teething.

As he gets better, decrease back to his usual amount of milk, and encourage solids.

Maybe try watering it down a bit. Snot + coughing + milk = not a nice return !
