Anyone have any links to places to buy cheap dolls clothes online (or any shops)
I just bought my dd a 36cm (14-16 inch) doll for her upcoming birthday and wanted to get some clothes to give her as well but the 'branded' clothes are in excess of $30 an outfit (which I don't even spend on dd).
I can't even sew a button on properly so can't make any (though would love to learn one day)

Do you have craft markets locally? There is a lady that is sometimes at my local markets who sells sweet home made dolls clothes in sizes to suit different dolls, she is very cheap $3-10 for most things and they are really pretty.

are you in Sydney 3_for_me? I don't know of any craft markets around me (but then I've never tried looking)
Thanks for the links **Tiger*Filly**, will check them out

Sorry lainskii, I'm down south near Nowra. If I'm wandering the markets and happen to spot her though I can take a few pics and send them to you and ask her if she sells then online at all.

That is really cheap for dolls clothes. I just looked on the etsy site and there are some there but when you add shipping from the states it starts to add up.
Will google local markets to see if I can find any as I'm sure there are other ladies who make clothes to sell.

When is her birthday? I'll try and have a look before if I spot her and if there is anything you are especially interested in I could post them up to you

In 3 weeks. Thanks for the offer. It's not that important that she gets them for her birthday, I just wanted some outfit changes as she now has an interest in trying to undress everything (including herself) so thought it would be good to have a few more outfits.
I can't believe that some outfits are nearly $40 - yes they are cute but that is nearly the cost of the doll in the first place. Some people really know how to make money.

OK dokey. I'll keep an eye out and take some piccies if I see her.
