Organising Boot Space in People Mover

We have just purchased a VW Multivan and want to store a double stroller and a single stroller in the rear luggage compartment. The problem is that most of the available space is vertical which means that we either need to pile things on top of one another (not ideal, as I'm sure that whatever we need is going to be on the bottom of the pile) or store the strollers vertically ie in an upright position.
Does anyone have good storage organiser solutions for the luggage compartments in people movers? I saw this one when I Googled, Cargo Bar with Net but think I will then have to reach into the back of the luggage compartment to get the stroller/s out which might be difficult. Ideally I am looking for some sort of vertical divider or clips that will hold the strollers up right. Being able to clip one to each side of the luggage compartment would be ideal.
Any ideas? Alternatively, if you have multiple strollers, bikes etc in the luggage compartment of a people mover how do you do it?

I use a luggage strap around the seats and clipped around the stroller. It takes a few more minutes to get into the car, but keeps the boot organised!

We use an Occy strap to keep our Phil & Ted vertical in the back of ours.
It is attached to the headrest and simply goes around the pram when it is folded up and sitting vertically.
I have considered building a shelf to utilise the massive vertical space more efficiently. I would put the pram and other more 'permanent' items on the bottom (floor of the car), and groceries, etc. on the shelf...maybe one day...

A shelf really would be ideal wouldn't it??? There is a missed marketing opportunity here!!!
Am unpacking the double stroller today and trying to work out what to do. Please keep the ideas coming - I will post a pic of my final solution!!
