Bored, so I decided to go back to a hobby I haven't done for many many years and that is knitting.

I was looking for a really easy pattern to knit my daughter something initially and then I stumbled upon the miracle babies site.

I have decided to go really basic until I can get back into the swing of it, so reviewed the knitted teddy bear.

Worried in case I get stuck with the pattern instructions, it seems fairly straight forward, but in the event of an emergency, would anyone mind helping me out?

Anyone else craft for charities and if so what do you make?

I used to make blankets for children in Mongolia.

Obviously it's freezing in Mongolia and there are a lot of children in orphanages.

I organized a group, spoke to spotlight and they gave use some wool at half price.

We donated 50 baby blankets.

I have been intending to knit for Wrapped with Love, which distributes blankets to 3rd world countries, but I love the idea of Miracle Babies too - thanks for bringing it onto my radar   original.gif

I have just heard I am about to be a great aunty again (although I prefer the term awesome aunty!), so I'm afraid the charity knitting is taking a back seat at the momoent.
