Does anyone mind? As everyone has probably read Quixote/Jess is going through a really rough time at the moment with her girls. I see there has been offers to help but I thought I could get the ball rolling?
If anyone is willing to help please let me no. I will message her shortly and ask what she needs. I thought meals would be a good idea, money donations maybe,gel/heat packs, maybe nappies?
If I'm treading on any toes please let me no.
Thanks

Good on you OP.
Also happy to make small donation, every bit helps I guess.  They really appreciated it last time.  This family has had a bloody rough 12 months.   We could even call it a first birthday present to the girls so it's not seen as charity?
PM details when you are ready to go.

Cheers,
D.

What a wonderful idea muminbusiness.

As usual, we have to advise that Fairfax accepts no responsibility for lost or mis-directed donations.

Any donations should be given freely with no expectations.

Hey everyone.
I'm 100% sure that Jess won't accept any money after what happened last time. There were a lot of rumours flying around about the donations when the twins were born, all of which were simply not true. It actually caused her a lot of added stress at a time when her girls were fighting to survive and she really didn't need anything else to worry about. If anyone is planning on being nasty about this, I simply suggest you close the thread.
Meals are a great idea though. original.gif

Hi there eb.
The last thing I want to do is cause Jess any stress at all. I would like to say here right now. I have never meet Jess, but I've been following her story right from the word go. I want to do something to help and I know a lot of people are to far away to do meals. There has been no one at all that has asked me to do this. I should also add people that are so kind to donate I think are doing so with any expectations on what Jess is to do with the money. Please let me know what everyone thinks. If it is going to cause stress I will get the thread closed. Please let me reiterate again if this thread stays open and people do decide to donate please do so without conditions.
Thank you again

It is so incredibly sad that happened. I have a SIL in Perth, could she drop something at the hospital?

Also have heard from Jess and she was very overwhelmed with this all. Could you please pm if you can do meals and on what day.
Thanks again all.
Oh I have also mentioned the money situation to her,she was heading up to the hospital so she will reply when she gets the chance.
