Silver.

Bek and Brenda were like 'Dumb and Dumber'...I loved it when Shannon said 'be friends later when you're driving around in your $220k sportscar'. Doh!

I liked the 'dream' fulfilment stuff.

Ummm, Shannon totally wants Bek something SEVERE!!

no way I think he is just relieved to finally have someone who 'gets it' think of all the bozo's he has this year to deal with. The drunk, the greedy cash grabber, hamish no more needs to be said and then poor old Ryan rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif
I dont blame him for acting like he wants to hump her!! plus the most awkward bit of TV goes to Shannon and Brenda shopping. honestly I was crying.....

Wonder why they didn't show Lydia's dream?  Weird!

Because it was about her horse probably and we were already 'treated' to Kasey and her horsey dream, how funny was her dad??
As side note how good was commando's turn back smile when Lydia asked for her dream with dream - hubba hubba  oomg.gif

That cracked me up!  I share the same dream as Lydia, how about that.

Very sad about Margie's brother passing away.  They kept that under wraps, first that we've heard of it I think?  Would have been dreadful for her and her family.

I missed last night, What happened to Margie's brother. Did he pass away whilst she was in the house sad.gif or is that one of the "reasons" she had let herself go. I hope it wasn't while she was in the house....

It was about 15 years ago, they showed some footage of Margie and Michelle talking about it before she came into the house.  He was a surfer and she hasn't been surfing in 8 years due to her weight.  Surfing makes her feel close to him.  My heart did go out to her.

He was bashed coming out of a nightclub. (or was it bashed and stabbed??) Either way it is terrible.

Her brother was killed after leaving a pub was bashed to death I think she said. Not that I think that there is any excuse for being a bully but I can understand why she seems so angry all the time and p*ssed off at the world. It sounds like she has never gotten over it as you would not.
After those idiots did not vote her out I want her to win now as she deserves it purely for playing the game the right way.

Margie was an angry p*ssed off bully when she was at school, which would be before her brother died.  Leopards spots and all that.

Anyone else notice Shannon's amazing ability to "get to the roots of Brenda's problems" in less than 5 minutes of prime time television.  I don't know why counsellors bother - all we need are personal trainers!!

So, who thinks Lydia got immunity?? I am in two minds, I sort of want her to cos she consumed so much but think that she didnt' get it.

I would skip that one cos I don't like cake. Tarts, vanilla slice, lamingtons yet but not cupcakes! lol

#18 Jensensmummy

Posted 17 April 2012 - 11:32 PM

Chocolate Addict - I think its Kasey that gets immunity, in the ad they show the person getting the star and they have a watch thingy on their left wrist but when they show Lydia she isn't wearing one.

#19 tres-chic

Posted 18 April 2012 - 07:16 AM

Whoever gets immunity seems to have rather feminine hands - so that seems to rule out Lydia and Margie.  smile1.gif  They get tricky with the promo photography though, so who knows?

Lydia has been such a cow to others in the past, I'm glad for once she's not getting everything her own way. I don't know why she has such a high and mighty attitude to Bek and Brenda when she was eliminated herself.

Poor Brenda. Imagine getting those scan pictures from her partners girlfriend after they got back together. No wonder she's so devastated. I actually think she's been very dignified not breaking down every five minutes.

totally agree its not like she didnt get a second chance.  I hope she doesnt get immunity.  Just because she has a sore knee doesnt mean she cant do anything, look at Alex and all the training he did when he was injured

I have a SERIOUS sweet tooth, however thinking of eating all those BIG cupcakes with all that buttercream even made me feel for Lydia.  I hope she gets it.   Though I am sure either way she ain't gonna be feeling too good!

Had to laugh at Margie's comment about having a one-on-one session with Michelle........something along the lines of "dream come true....well almost!".  As much as I don't like Margie, she can be quite funny!

what was the story with brenda ??

#23 bellarox

It was so hard watching Lydia eat the cupcakes last night. She eats like such a pig and if she didn't shove so much in her mouth at once, maybe she could chew a bit easier.

I hope Kasey gets the immunity.

Shannon found Brenda in tears after a work out session she could not complete and wanted to 'get to the root of her problem' and he was asking about when she started to put on weight and she said during a long term relationship and he asked when that ended did she put on more weight due to comfort eating? Brenda said no that she actually lost weight and she got back together with her partner but shortly after that she was emailed pictures of a baby scan form the woman her partner had been dating during their break up... that is really bloody sad if you ask me. so her partner left to go back to the pregnant ex and thus piled on the weight.
I think she said in a earlier session with Shannon that it had been 4 years since they broke up which is such a long time to be so heart broken for. Poor thing I really hope she wins now and meets someone nice and she could use the money for IVF as she has just turned 40 so it is not impossible for her to have children still.
God listen to me I am talking like I know her and am planning her life. I need to get one I think roll2.gif

commando working out as if it could not get any better wub.gif  although I feel seeing him all rugged up in switzerland doing manly adrenaline type stuff could be the cherry on top!!! hands.gif
