There were just too many names I haven't seen in a while and its hard to format with so many but I am more than happy to add you. I just wasn't sure who isn't participating anymore or who has suffered losses. If anyone wants to be added to our angels PM me.

This will be my 3rd baby but DFs first - he's so excited and scared at the same time.

I've just had my worst couple of days with tiredness and sickness so far, but I think that's because I may have a touch of flue as well.  Making the kids lunches for school is hard because just walking into the kitchen makes me want to vomit sad.gif

Yay a new thread and it's busy.

Pink - If you get stuck with the list closer to your birth or things just get too hard for you just let me know and I'd be happy to take over. Thinking of you and hoping everything is ok.

I have posted before but if anyone is interested in joining the FB that has been set up just PM me. Please don't feel you need to join though I'm sure this thread will be just as busy but just another way of communicating (post pictures privately etc) with each other when things get busy. It has been set up as a secret group for privacy.

I'm exhausted. Again. I thought I was getting some energy on the weekend but yesterday I crashed and burned again. I thought you were supposed to get more energy in your second trimester. I went to the Dr today for a check up and get my referral for my scan (11 sleeps to go) I also asked her to check my iron levels when I get my next bloods done. My next appointment will be at the midwives clinic in 2 weeks.

Posted 17 April 2012 - 03:34 PM

Catirving - yay for the all clear on the amnio! And I'm feeling the bladder pressure too, but no movements just additional pressure and need to go all the time.

Morti - goodness, pelvic floor reconstructive surgery sounds really scary...hope all continues to be well and you get the natural birth you are after. Hope the gastro goes away ASAP!!

MummatoA - I hear you on cleaning out the spare room - ours too has been the junk room in my tiny house so lots of things going into the bin or being donated! Hope you get some energy back soon too!

McBaby's Mum - hope the scan goes well this week!

ayla2008 - how did your scan go?

sg290780 - Congratulations!!!!! So exciting that your DP surprised you  biggrin.gif

Well had my 20 week scan today and it was ace! Looks like I'm keeping the trend going - we are having a boy!  wub.gif
I didn't really mind what we were having for our first child but excited its a boy actually - it makes it feel more real somehow and I feel like it helped me bond that little bit more. It also means that my DH gets to pass on the family name, his dad's family has no other boys and DH is one of 2 and his brother had all girls.  The sonographer was a bit surprised that I asked her to see of she could get a 3d image of the genitals!! She said she hadn't had that request before and I was like really? I thought everyone who wanted to know gender would ask that! Anyway she couldn't get a good 3d shot so we went the old 2d instead. Got a cute 3d of the face though - will post to the other thread.

Hi to everyone else, look forward to getting to know you!

Hi all!

Loving that this thread is moving. I've got 2 spare minutes so I'm even going to attempt personals!

Morti-I hope you're feeling better. A friend of mine had gastro a few weeks ago and rang me and asked why the hell I was having baby #3 (I've had hyperemesis each time and she's yet to have one) she said she couldn't do this for any length of time, and sure as hell not 3 times laughing2.gif

rach42- I have days where I can't go in the kitchen as well, acutally, I have weeks like that...but DH is getting better at cooking, so it can't be all bad!

sg290780- congratualtions on your engagement!! I've only just started feeling babe move and my dd is SO excited for when she can feel the baby!

want-to-be-a-mummy- Well done on not finding out, I wish I could, but it'd drive me nuts! (now I've said that baby will probably not give up the goods!)

mumma to a- I've been feeling the exhaustion lately. I think as my hyperemesis finally seems to be turning that corner my body has realised how tired I am.

tauruspregnant- congrats on your boy, they are lovely creatures (well, mostly original.gif )

jess1980- twins! how lovely!

tibs- I've got one of each too, expecting a tie breaker!

AFM- as I said, hyperemesis seems to be easing, still spewing most days but not feeling that god awful nausea all day and night now. We've got our scan next week and I can't wait to find out who's hiding in there

Congratulations 'sg290780' ! Are you planning a Wedding pre-baby arrival?

I'm finally not nauseous and vomiting all day and am off the Zofran but still on 1/2 a Restavit in the mornings. My back is now an issue so am seeing the physio each week and am currently taped up to hold me together  wink.gif

Hi All!

Lovely to see the 2 groups joined together, as they seemed to be getting a bit quiet!!

Since we didn't have a list going in the other group below are my details:

Name : Emma-Kate
Age : 26
Location : Brisbane
Sex of baby : TBA (find out on the 26th April - my husband and I can't wait!!)
Other children : 0 (this is our first child)

So excited to be finding out the sex of the baby on the 26th April. I can finally start preparing the nursery and making the baby some clothes and a quilt!!! Very much looking forward to the future shopping trips as well!! My mum is also very excited, she can't wait to start buying the baby some clothes (though it hasn't stopped her, she has been buying both girls and boys things... I am one of six kids so many more grand children to come, so they won't go to waste!!

Has anyone else's tummy gotten really big? My tummy is quite large now, I have been in maternity clothes since 10 weeks (when I had to tell everyone as I could no longer hide it anymore...) my mum was the same, so it must run in the family. It is all tummy (like the size of a basketball) which is nice (haven't really put on any weight), so from behind I don't look pregnant... it is nice stage though as all the maternity clothes fit really well!! It is interesting at the gym now when doing pilates and yoga classes... my balance is terrible and just can't do everything they way I used to be able to too... interesting how the body changes and adjusts to the beautiful little baby growing inside you!!

I am sorry to hear all the women who are still unwell I do hope you all feel better soon!!

Well I am off to bed, to get some sleep before another big day at work, very busy atm!!

Futureself: No wedding this year... a tiny one next year we want our little guy to be a part of the day. Our girls are planning putting him in a red wagon and pulling him around... LOL

I am tired too all those that have mentioned it... and clearing out the spare room/ ex-junk room... Hee Hee Such an annoying job. But will be so special when our little guy is in there original.gif

Still in shock that I am havnig a boy - but so so excited!!!
