So we are heading away on holiday in September for 10 days. Now there is one date in there that is very significant,dh was told last year on his birthday he had cancer. He has invited his mum over for the holiday as well. She's fully aware that we have picked this time as its dh birthday and it's also a day to celebrate not having bad news etc.she also said yes we will be def there for your birthday, wouldn't miss it.
She rung him last night and the topic of the holiday came up.
Mil. Have you got anything worked out for holiday.
Dh. Um yeah we've already told you.
Mil. Ok well do you want us there for your birthday!
I find that so very, very wrong.
She NEW it was a significant day, and I just find this disrecptful to dh and hurtful.
Ok I will take my frustrated self away now!
