My sister already has Millie May with a surname starting with M.
She needs a name to match, along the same girly vintage lines.... She has a fussy DH as well!
This won't be their last child and I don't think they want to necessarily continue the 'm' thing
I suggested:
Maggie
Ivy
Lola
Anymore? Thanks!

I've got two categories

Classic Girly Names With Adorable Nicknames
Katherine - Kitty/Katie/Kat
Elizabeth - Betty/Ellie/Bessie/Libby
Penelope - Nell, Penny
Dorothea - Dot, Dotty

I can keep going on and on for the long ones with nickname options but I'll just shriek three more and then go away: Susannah! Coraline! Rosemary!

Short Little Vintage Names That Don't Need Nicknames
Milly & Flora
Milly & Iola
Milly & Iris
Milly & Jane
Milly & Amy
Milly & Eartha
Milly & Dinah

"Hey, come here a second," my mum said as she replaced the book in my hands with a wooden spoon covered in what I prayed was red sauce.
