Atlas
Avery
Avey
Casper
Cillian

Dashiell (Dash)
Dexter
Ezra
Felix
- just makes me think of the cat
Hugo
Knox
Lysander (Xander) - I actually like the full name but HATE the name Xander
Maximus (Max)
Miles
Raphael (Rafe)
Rafe
Tobias
Wolfe
Xander

My fave from your list is still Dashiell, or Avery, and I don't mind Tobias

Oh my, what an awesome list! I see why you're having trouble!

These are what stand out to me the most wub.gif (in order of my preference)

Wolfe - Love this!
Avery
Casper
Dexter
Maximus (Max)
Tobias

1. Hugo. Lovely. So is Hugh.
2. Dashiell. Lovely too. Dash or Dashy sound so cute.
3. Raphael is okay as long it is spelt that way and not Rafael. I really do not like the butchering of classic names. It also seems a little feminine to me, maybe because I know two Raphaella's. Also Teenage Mutant Ninger Turtles.
4. Cillian sounds a bit like a medicine to me. Maybe penicillin?
5.Dexter reminds me of the Perfect Match Computer or the serial killer!

Cillian - dislike, makes me think chilli, Silly, Killy
Dashiell - ok, Love Dash
Dexter - again ok but I have know a few dogs with this name
Hugo - Love
Raphael - Like

Casper is great, but like pp I prefer Jasper

My top 5 from your whole list would be
Ezra
Hugo
Maximus (Max)
Tobias
Miles

How is it butchered spelt Rafael? I'm pretty sure it's a legit spelling  huh.gif

I thought Rafael was legit too, I just prefer Raphael because it looks nicer and is how the ninja turtle spells it... ph34r.gif

Got lots to think about again - we might just end up drawing a name from a hat!

#57 lactasticmama

I'm sure it would be. I'd doubt BlondieBear/BelRowley would have spelt it Rafael if it was butchered wink.gif (*could* be wrong though)

But naming after the Turtles is pretty cool!

How about Fox....??

Definitely should go with one from the list I gave you Tounge1.gif I have a baby name board full of similar names on my pinterest if you want to make it harder, lol!

I adore both Hugo and Raphael. They're two of my favourite names. The others aren't my style.

Not a fan of Fox either - dunno why, it just doesn't make me go 'yeah', if that makes sense!

I will look at your pinterest board, I love your lists - and like I said, we've still got 10 weeks, and an extra 12 after the baby comes if we need it! ohmy.gif
We never thought of naming subsequent children when we picked DDs name, it's hard finding something to live up to its perfection (in my mind, anyway!)

Fair enough, just thought I'd put it out there.

I know the feeling though, it definitely is hard to live up to the perfection-ness of the older sibling's names.

I really like Lysander, though I'm a bit worn out on Xander as a nickname because I know lots.

Lysander is on our list of usable boys names though.

I love Hugo - is one of my favourite names for a boy.

From your list I also like Raphael and I don't mind Dashiell.  I'm not so keen on Cillian or Dexter.

Good luck!

You think Rafael is butchered, yet you spell Ninja as Ninger?

And, just so you know, Rafael is legit.

#68 Z-girls rock

1. Hugo
2. Dashiell
3. Raphael
4. Dexter
5. Cillian (dont like at all)

#69 Missy91

Posted 13 April 2012 - 03:02 PM

1. Dashiell - by a whisker
2. Cillian - had you thought about Cassius
3. Dexter
4. Hugo
5. Raphael - while it is a beautiful name and an amazing artist, i fear the cruelty of children would come out to play as it is on the feminine side.

#70 samshine

Posted 13 April 2012 - 03:08 PM

I love Hugo and Raphael from your list.

I've never heard of Cillian pronounced with the 'S' sound.  I met a few when living in Ireland, it was always pronounced with a hard 'K' sound?

Raphael lol... am I the only one who grew up with ninja turtles? Maybe it only played in the UK..  ph34r.gif Would be awesome to dress him up as him if you did  tthumbs.gif

Well DH & I had a talk, and it looks like Cillian is off both our lists! Having said it so much over the last few days, we've kind of tired of it - so now we're down to 18 - hooray!
I've been telling him whats been said here, and I think he's taking it into account, as have I, and over the next few days we're going to try to eliminate names from our 18, rather than pick faves, so maybe we'll get further that way!

Look out for a thread revival when we've got some combos!!!

Sounds like a bit of progress there Erin.
Maybe try calling bub by each name for a few days, and see which one you like to say the most? and what sounds the best?

Looking forward to an update!
