I know you cop a bit of crap from some delusional wenches on here... but I think you have every right to share and I'm glad for you. I hope it all works out well for you, and that it's the start of something lovely.  original.gif

Don't ever worry about other people's opinions - try to remember they are a bit like AH's - everyone's got one wink.gif

Yay! I've been following your journey for a while, and you deserve some happiness.  I hope the transition goes smoothly, and the boys adjust well and you make a blissful new family together.

It's great to hear things are going well for you - maybe this is the start of a huge turnaround!  bbighug.gif

Wonderful news, OP.  Relish every minute of this new turn in your relationship.  Just remember, you most certainly deserve to be happy and if anyone suggests otherwise, do this: rolleyes.gif

OP, I really do wish you, your boys and your partner all the best in your future. You and I have "had words" before, but regardless of that if you are happy and your children are happy, then thats the main thing and are deserving of a positive change in your life. As long as you are smiling, happy, secure and content, life cannot get much better original.gif

I hope that P can bring you and your boys all the happiness in the world.

Good luck xo

OP that is fantastic news!

I understand how upsetting it is when people can't just be happy for you. When we told DF's family that we were getting married, their response was "are you sure?" Same with one of his mates. He got quite upset and said "why can't people just say congratulations and be happy for me. It's what I want and they are taking all the enjoyment out of it."

But you know what, screw them. You are happy. No one can guarantee eternal happiness, so you make choices for your life now. Enjoy your new life and try not to throttle him over wet towels on the floor or empty toilet rolls wink.gif

I don't see how it's good news that's all. Sure it might be great for you but it lacks context to me. Sorry I'm not a fan who's been following your story. Clearly others have. Your title came off as incredibly aggressive considering you're classing this as good news. I thought this was a vent tbh.

IGNORE!!

Good luck & Happy Easter original.gif

OP, congrats and enjoy. Don't worry about what people might say/think. Because no matter what you/we do there will be people who are not going to like it.
Esp when it comes to good news, some people don't like that!

All the best original.gif
