Hi everyone, my babies are here!
Alfred and George arrived 9 minutes apart on Tuesday morning (36+5). They weighed 2.88kg and 3.125kg and were 48cm and 49cm long.
I had brilliant medical staff on duty who supported a 100% natural delivery. So I am truly over the moon with how it all worked out. I'll write their birth story up at some point soon.
Anyway, I hope everyone is well. I'll catch up on any updates soon.

Congrats nyb! Can't wait to hear all the details!
We had a successful nt scan today - bubs measuring almost identical, right on track. Downs risk very low too - 1/4000 and 1/5000. We're thrilled!

Congrats newyearbaby on the birth of your precious baby boys. So glad everything went well and can't wait to read your birth story.
Pz - excellent news on the low risk result. It definately helps with peace of mind.

Congratulations NYB!!! So pleased for you that everything went well and that Alfred and George have arrived safely. Can't wait to hear your birth story. 36+5 is an awesome effort! Hope that you are feeling really well now the babies are out - how is your body adjusting? Did the bubs need to go to special care at all?
PZ - glad that the your NT scan went well. they are great results!! It is a big milestone to get through.
AFM - 30 weeks today!! This was our original goal - I feel super lucky to have got this far and still have both babies growing well. Discussed "exit dates" with my OB today. If I don't have any further bleeds then maybe we will try to get to just over 36 weeks. He just needs to check with the paedetrician to make sure that everyone thinks that is the optimal time. DH and I are going out for dinner tonight to celebrate the 30 week milestone - probably the last dinner out we will have for quite a while!
Hope everyone else is travelling well!
