I really need to get started again. I'm thinking of doing Ripped in 30

I've been looking at Jillian's DVDs online, I want a couple of workout routines for during winter when it's too cold to get outside! Do you need the DVD to do the one you want to do, or is it something different? Thanks!

I'm starting Ripped in 30 tomorrow, so I'm in! I did No More Trouble Zones last week, was sore for a few days after, probably shouldn't have jumped straight into a 1hr workout straight away. Will be doing it early in the morning before work, so won't be in to update until tomorrow evening though.

I am hoping to start the 30 day shred one tomorrow, it is the first time I have done it so it will be interesting to see how I go, might keep an eye on this thread though hopefully it will help me keep motivated. Good luck.

My motivation has been non-existent, I really need to get into it. Pretty disappointed in myself, this time last year I was 66kg, now just over 80, sheer laziness and not eating well enough.

I have put on about 12 kg in the last year, its come too the fact that I have hardly any winter clothes that will fit me! So that is my motivation - I don't want to buy any more clothes (one money, plus trying to find some that fit me that was comfy!!)

Yay! So happy to have some company. I also need to lose weight (& have put on a bit more lately ). Would be happy with 8 - 10 kilos.
cardamom - I have her DVDs (a lot of them ) but I think you can 'acquire' these ones online.
See you all for check-in tomorrow!

Count me in!
I am 6 weeks post birth, have dropped the extra baby weight and now have about 12 kg to lose - I have been hanging onto this 12 kg for about 6 years now and I want it gone!
I couldn't find 30 day shred at the shop, so went with Ripped in 30. I had a false start last week, and started again today - pretty confident I can get through it but I need something to keep me accountable - checking in here should help!
So anyway, if anyone is interested - a quick review on Ripped in 30 level 1: I find it reasonably easy given I haven't exercised properly for a long time - it makes me sweat but knowing the circuits are so short helps me push through it and before you know it, you are warming down.
I am going to (try to) incorporate a daily walk too, as so far it feels it will tone rather than burn fat initially. I guess all that new muscle will eventually help burn fat too. I hope!
Looking forward to it!

I am in sugababe, provided I can modify it and not do it when I do pt and run as I just don't have time to do it all.
I have 4.8 kg left to lose and easter is looming and chocolate is my downfall!
I have boxing tomorrow and I like to run 6km on Tuesdays, so I will start Wednesday with level 3 30ds.

I acquired Ripped in 30 late last week, and had planned to just do it a couple of times a week on days when I didnt run or cycle, but I like a challenge, so Im up for doing it more!
I dont want to lose any weight (have recently got to goal weight of 55kg), but I do want to tone up. I run 4-5 times a week and cycle between 10-30km on my non running days.
ETA: I have done the week 1 workout twice, and loved it, really love the format.

I just did my first one! Just about to head out, but will come back with what I thought

Have been doing Ripped in 30 for the last week (so about 3 days of it) and also did it this morning, so count me in with the motivation to keep going.
I love the dvd's with the 3-2-1 workout. I purchased 30 day shred and acquired Ripped. I love this one. Still at level one, enjoying it and sweating my hole off with each workout. Can't wait til level 2, though I will give it a few more days before I step up to that one

Got up early and did it this morning, was pretty good, will be back up early tomorrow for Day 2.

I'm in. I'm only doing it twice a week though as I'm using it to complement a running program. I've been doing level 1 of ripped in 30 for a few weeks and moving to level 2 tomorrow. My plan is to stick with each level for about 3 weeks.
I'm not looking to lose any more weight, just a bit of toning and a different workout. I actually think I've noticed ab definition since I've started.

Day 2 done, nice & early as I have to go to work tonight. Had more energy than yesterday
How is everyone going?

Still trying to get hold of the program! Looking forward to trying it based on everyone's reports.
Did a 40 minute boxing-aerobics workout last night, was good

I did it again thismorning, after an 18km bike ride, so the legs were a bit tired, but still managed to get through it. Looking forward to seeing some results
How was level 2 duedec?

Still to do DandS. Will probably wait to do after the kid have gone to bed. DD hasn't had a sleep today and we've been out all morning.

Look forward to hearing how it is, and whether its much harder than week 1.
Posted 03 April 2012 - 04:07 PM
Haven't had a chance to do anything yet today - was running around like a mad woman this more going here and there, before the MIL arrived. Might try tonight when everyone is in bed. Legs are very sore, not sure how I am going to go.

RI30 - Level 2 done for the first time tonight. Cardio a bit harder, warmup seemed a bit quicker, and you can notice each bit getting a bit more techincal. I am a bit unco in places! Enjoyed it.

I did a workout Sunday, but missed monday's workout, my little boy had an ear infection and would not leave me at all! I plan on doing the workout 5 times a week so I think Monday can be a rest day
Did it yesterday - after I started it last week I was fairly stiff and sore for a couple of days after - I'm not finding that this time, so I think I am getting use to it :-)
It will be a challenge today to get a workout in, I have my baby's immunisations this morning, and uni all afternoon - so I need to make myself do the workout when I come back from the doctors.

I didn't do it last night but first thing this morning, boys are waking up very early so I thought since I was so wide awake and they were busy watching cartoons I would have a go, so set up the portable dvd in the bedroom doorway and didn't in the hallway lol not much room anywhere else in the house. I choose a bad time to start though with school holidays coming up and Easter!!! So much temptation everywhere! And trying to find 20 mins were I am not disruppted by the kids - we all know how hard that is!
