Hmm, it's interesting you say that Cheri, Vitex made my period longer and healthier (decent 'fresh' flow which hopefully comes from a better lining) which was something that I was starting to worry about.  I'm quite hopeful that it will do the trick in the next few cycles.  My cycle was back to 28/29 days but I can't tell if that was the Vitex or if it was just getting back to 'normal'.

eta:  I forgot who was asking but I read that you shouldn't take Vitex while AF is around, but to start taking it once AF is gone.

Yeah - i don't know what's going on ... i had 2 days spotting, 3 day AF and now what i'd consider spotting. I'm not sure if I should go off it, keep going or to even think about it ... just seems weird.

Hi All,

Hope everyone has had a lovely easter! Congrats to the BFP's so far.

So sorry to hear about your m/c nowfor4, I really hope your body gets back on track quickly.

Just popping in to say that I just got a BFP! I am so excited, I wasn't even able to use FMU but I got a nice strong line and then did a digital which said 1-2wks. Wow! I really hope this one is a sticky healthy one. The line is a lot darker than I ever got with my chem pg a few months back though so I'm feeling pretty confident! No idea how many DPO I am, it's cycle day 33 but have had some spotting and seemed to ovulate really late this month (maybe day 22ish). DH is at work so I'll have to wait for him to get back to share the great news.

Good luck to everyone else! Hopefully many more BFP's on the way!

Good luck to everyone this month and sorry to those who have had some bad news... I really hope you can star trying again soon. A big congrats to letsgivethisago.

Well I am on CD51 today (or actually now CD1), first cycle off the pill and I just got my AF! I don't think I have ever been excited about getting my period before  original.gif ..... but I now feel like our TTC journey can properly begin. Fingers crossed for a shorter cycle this time... you never know, April really might be our month!

I am not going to put a testing date down as still very unsure as to what will happen with my cycle. Looking forward to getting back to a more normal cycle though!

This is my first month off the pill too NSG so I'm very intrigued to see how long it takes to get AF. Fingers crossed it isn't too long but I wouldn't be surprised if it is 40 to 50 days. Is it possible to get PG in your first month off the pill? I presume it is but would be fairly rare and quite lucky! biggrin.gif

Hi jbm3113.... I have read on this site that it is not uncommon to get to 60 days+ on your first cycle but I think it is hard to put any expectations out there at all! As my DB says, the female body is a very mysterious thing! I think it is possible to get pregnant the first cycle and a good friend of mine has but I have also heard that it is sometimes not the best thing to do so as your body needs to clean out from the pill and apparently the lining of your uterus changes? Someone more knowledgeable than I am can probably confirm or deny this last piece. Good luck on your journey! Fingers crossed for a speedy return to normal cycles :-)

Thanks NSG and good luck and FX to you too! Hopefully we are both sharing some exciting news in the next couple of months together! It's such an exciting feeling isn't it starting to try for a little addition. It's also a little obsessive sometimes as it's sometimes all I think about for the good part of a day! So try to keep busy and life as normal as possible. I know it will happen when my body is ready. smile1.gif

Well, I think I might be having an anovulatory cycle this month.

I've been charting for 4 cycles now, and the first 3 cycles have been almost identical. Ovulation on exactly day 19, with 27/28 day cycles.

This is my 4th cycle charting and I'm on CD 20 and still no sign of ovulation yet. I was expecting my temp rise this morning like normal, confirming ovulation on CD 19. But no temp rise.

I had strong +OPK's on CD 17 and 18 and even one on CD 16 (which I didn't record as I suspected it miiiight not have been quite a +)

I am having LP problems as it is (it's way too short) and am taking Vitex, B6 and EPO plus having regular acupuncture sessions to bring forward my O day. But this month, something seems to have delayed it. So if I get AF when it usually comes, my LP would have been even shorter this month. That's if I even ovulate at all.

On top of delayed ovulation, because of Easter my acupuncturist and I missed my most vital acupuncture appointment of the month (my pre-ovulation appointment), I ran out of OPK's two days ago, life is just generally very busy and stressful at the moment, and because my acupuncturist was confident we'd O earlier this month and because my OPK's got darker a lot quicker this month, we've been BD'ing like mad and we're tired and exhausted from it and I think we need a couple days break from sex, and I haven't even O'd yet.

I already think I'm out this month. Things just seem to be working against us.

Certainly is! My sis in law was on the pill for almost a decade, and got PG first month off the pill. Now I'm a proud aunt to a 6 month old original.gif

So it's definitely possible!

Congrats Letsgivethisago!

Finally a 1 DPO today O'd on CD22 this month, 24 last month and 18/19 the months before, wish i knew what my body was doing!

Going to get the 7 DPO progesterone test done this month which falls on a sunday, should i go monday or saturday? Given my LP has only been about 10 days im not sure if i go at 8 DPO then at least ill know whether its low at this stage right? Praying that my LP has changed and it was just the pill stuffing it up the first few months.

Hi Ladies! Newbie checking in!

A bit of background-
DH and I are 30 yrs old. We have two gorgeous children DD5 and DS4. The first two were extremely easy to concieve (neither was planned and they are only 16 months apart. I think I got pregnant using my husband's soap. biggrin.gif ) We fell pregnant again in March 2010 but sadly that ended in a mc and d&c at 10 weeks. I went on the birth control pill.

In September 2011 we decided to start trying again for bub 3. We started in Oct and here we are, April 2012 and still going! I know it's not a long time considering, but it's so hard when my first two were so easy to conceive! I am getting frusterated and hopeless. I was charting for the first 5 cycles but found it very stressful so I stopped.

I think I'm 9dpo at the moment, not sure of O. I did a test- BFN. sad.gif I know it's probably way early, especially when I'm not exactly sure when I O'd, but still disappointed!

Could you put me down for testing on the 14th?  No AF signs really, fingers crossed!!

Congrats to the BFPs, I look forward to sharing my journey with all of you! bbighug.gif

Good luck for the 14th CaptainBlunty!!
How's everyone else in their TWW? I'm testing in a week and going mad!Though I have noticed my heart rate is increasing. Not sure it's it the real deal, or me getting anxious, or just from all the chocolate I've had this long weekend!

Hi girls, been having trouble with connection and pages are loading very slowly the last few days, so I haven't been able to check in, and haven't looked back over the posts I've missed. Hope everyone has had a lovely Easter and that those with a kiddie or two already, hope the kids had a blast!

Welcome and good luck CaptainBlunty! I've been trying since Nov 2011 (also not long) but given my sister fell without trying it is feeling like forever for me too (and I think, a few of the ladies around EB too).

Tiger_85: My TWW is going very slow as well! I'm 7DPO, and have felt on and off nausea for the last 4 days, but fairly certain that is just excited nerves (as it is FAR too early for EPS surely?) and all the extra chocolate!

But AF is due in 3 days, so FX she doesn't arrive.

Baby dust to all!

LetsGiveThisAGo- Congrats! How exciting!! cclap.gif
Bells- I've had problems with connection on this page too.

AFM- On CD 24 and 11 DPO & I'm going crazy not knowing. I've had some preg symptoms but just like last month I've had a virus and am back on antibiotics wacko.gif So I was naughty and tested (too early) with a BFN.gif . Poo. I'm going to try to hold off a couple of days before testing again. Looks like the BFP list is growing, good luck ladies.

Hello all, apologies for not keeping up here either - have been away to see family for a few days over Easter long weekend and wouldn't you know it, no internet connection for my laptop, only the mobile phone (forced hiatus!). Congrats to those who have a BFP, best of luck for a healthy and happy pregnancy! original.gif Will try to read through and catch up properly before my next post...

I think I'm in the TWW now... on CD36! Started to get EWCM while on my break to see the family... with DF 3 hours away at home and a few one-sided cramps on the left... rolleyes.gif Still had some when I got home so hopefully we caught it!

Will be testing around the 23rd... FX!

Good luck to everyone else trying this cycle!
