DH  and i were having a conversation about our cafe press after dinner tonight.

i have had the cafe press for just under 12 months, but have only ever used it to make toasted sandwiches once.

i do however use it almost EVERY night. i cook EVERYTHING in it!

from sausgages, steaks, kebabs, chops, pancakes, kiev's, snitzels and any other meat you could think of.

DH thinks its wierd. but i find the press cooks everything so much faster and more evenly!!!

do you have a kitchen applience that you tend to favour? even if you dont use it for its intended purpose???

The dishwasher.

But for making food, the rice cooker - we make tonnes of the stuff!
Also, our microwave steamer - doesn't really count as an appliance though, I guess...?

dishwasher & kettle are easily the most frequent used kitchen appliance in this house.  The rice cooker & wok come in a close second though.

Someone had to say it  ....

THERMOMIX!

but we don't have a lot of other appliances now -  ditched the microwave, rice cooker, scales etc etc etc so I reckon we probably use it for 15-20 tasks a day - food prep or otherwise (weighing ebay parcels LOL)

I use our pressure cooker at least once every day.

After that, (per week etc) I use the kitchen aid and my Mum's food processor (on loan) the most.

I'm dreading sending Mum's FP back so much that I'm currently talking DF round to buying the KA version.
