I have a cousin Eloise, it's a nice name, but I prefer the french spelling, Heloise.  Eloise is probably more intuitive spelling which will make life easier for her in the long run.
I can't remember my cousins middle name, so am not much help there!!  But something more crunchy sounding would be my pick, like Stephanie.

Hate it.

I don't like the non-intuitive spelling and I don't like the pronunciation either. I know how it's meant to be said but still revert to ee-loyce when I see it and can't get past that.

Prefer Elise, Elisa, Luisa, Louisa, Louise...

My sister is Elouise and I love the name.

Whenever I see this incorrect spelling, I just want to say 'Eee-Louise'.

It's my middle name and I really like it.

I love the sound of Eloise Claire or Eloise Charlotte.

Love it biggrin.gif Would've named my DD Eloise however it didn't go with the middle name we had to have  sad.gif My second child was a DS, so couldn't use it then, now the only way I can use it is if we get a female cat or dog.
