We are lucky to have a son born in 2007 which was a nice surprise, we got married May 2010 when our son was 3. We wanted a brother or sister for our son. We ended up conceiving at our honey moon to our surprise. We had a early scan at 6 weeks to find nothing there, we weren't concerned as it was still early, until the pains and bleeding started. I had our first m/c on my brother's birthday 20th June 2010. It took a while for me to come to terms to try again and for all my hormones to settle down.
My husband and I tried again around April 2011 and was once again surprised we where pregnant, we organised a early scan at 7 weeks and same thing nothing in the sac, this time we where worried but got assured that it was still early. I carried on like normal until to my disbelief cramps and bleeding started at 10 weeks, but this time I had to wait 12 days for my body to let it happen naturally this was the hardest thing to experience knowing it was going to happen again but not knowing when. M/C ended up happening believe or not on my brothers birthday again THE 20th June 2011, exactly 1 year after the first. We did not think it would happen twice in a row, we where so shocked. After this time I was not going to give up, I thought third time lucky, so we sort counselling to help us with the loss, I felt better to try again.
We can now happily say third time lucky that we have fallen pregnant and have made it pass the 20 week mark. Our due date believe it or not is THE 19th June the day before my brother's birthday (The day I dread of pain and loss). Even though we are safe with this bub, THERE is not a day that I worry about if things are going to be ok!
How can I stop thinking of the worst and just be pleased that we have been blessed with a healthy bub at last? Its very hard to stay positive

My DD2 was born one year to the day that I miscarried my baby. I was induced and very anxious about the date as it held such horrible memories for me. However, what was an awful date in my history is now a happy day! I hope the same happens for you!
