Old ladies in my family: Lillian, Eileen, Rosalie, Doreen, Olivia, Nellie, Nancy, Moyra.
Old blokes: John, Cecil, Tom, Victor, Patrick, William, David, Peter.

Funny how vintage girls names go out of fashion more than boys do.

I've always had a bit of a thing for Cora. I don't really know why and it's probably not everyone's cup of tea.

Being mostly inspired by literary classics, I also like Olive, Byron, Prudence, Darius and Dorian.

I would probably like Esme too, if anyone had the nads to use it.  original.gif

I love both Cora and Esme, but DH crossed them both off my list sad.gif I have managed to preserve great vintage names like Ada, Evelyn, Lola, Vera and Violet (among others) on the list though.

I love Esme - there is a little girl in DS1s room at daycare called Esme. She totally suits the name, too, so cute!

I also love Sylvie (my maternal G-GM was Sylvia), Joy and Margaret.

Margaret with Maggie and Meg as nicknames.

Unlikely I suspect and won't be us but would love to come across a little Meg or Maggie (even though it sounds a bit Simpson-ish).
