So I am loving Annika, and mentioned it to DH and he didn't say no - which is a good start. I think he just thinks it's a bit weird as he's never hear it before. But he loves Annie, so he can call her that for short.

Would love some mn suggestions. Annika Rose sounds lovely, but every second person seems to use Rose for a mn lately.

Family name I could use is Isobel, but Annika Isobel is a bit of a mouthful. I think it needs something simple and short.

TIA

Annika is really NMS, but if I had to pick a middle name for it, definitely Rose. Or Mae/May original.gif

What about Annika Belle? Kind of uses the family name but in a way that flows a bit better. How many syllables does your last name have? If it has a few (like Robertson), a one syllable MN might be a good idea.

Btw I quite like Rose -  if I have a girl I will definitely be using it as it was part of my maiden name. I think if you don't like anything else, I'd go with it, especially as Annika is a bit different (but gorgeous).  yyes.gif

I know every second baby girl has the following as middle names - but they are gorgeous:

Annika Grace
Annika Rose

Or what about:

Annika Elizabeth
Annika Sophie / Sophia
Annika Mary
Annika Joy
Annika Marie / Maree
Annika Emily

Good luck deciding.  Annika is a beautiful name !!
