Anyone else been watching this?  I'm hooked on anything reality at the moment!

This week, I was thinking, what is Lyndle doing, trying to turn him off?   She was being very rude I thought the way she was speaking to the guy (can't think of his name right now).

I missed the second half, thanks for the reminder I must catch up on it.

It's such good train wreck TV.  One of those concepts that makes you wonder why on earth anyone would want to be on such a show.

Makes the blokes look like mummas boys with no balls, makes the mums look like biatches and the girls....don't even get me started on that Barbie chick.

I know most of it is in the editing, as is all reality TV, but geez.

I've been watching some of it, but can't really get into it.

Oh yes, it is train wreck tv at it's best, and how corny is the whole moving the photo closer to the families photos?  I just cringed when they did that the first time.

Agreed, it seems like some of the mums think their sons are so "precious"

I know. Everything you don't want your daughter to land up with one day, or at least everything I don't want my DD to land up with one day!

I'm loving this show! So bad it's great. I can't imagine why you'd put yourself on there as a mum though, it makes them all look so controlling.

And me, I cannot believe that there is any chance that any of those girls would stick around with her son after they have seen what she is like, that girl that was chosen by her and then left in the first round was the smartest person I have ever seen on TV, ever.

Run girls run, this is a flash forward of what your life would be like.

ok so the finale was on.

what a shock that Milena chose Andrea rolleyes.gif . I think Vlad showed himself to be a weak little mummys boy at the end there, the way he did not stand up for Liz.
I hope he and Andrea and Milena are very happy together - the three of them should have a lovely marriage ph34r.gif

I wonder where we can find out who it has worked out for?

They are doing follow ups on the morning show this morning.

I don't understand why they were fighting over Vlad to start with? Balding, tub-gutted, spineless mummy's boy... Wow, sign me up for one of them!? Andrea would have been told to bugger off out of my house as soon as she had her little hissy fit. Manipulative little snake.

I did like Matt though and I though this mum made the right choice. I would have picked Edwina for Brendan though.

There was supposed to be a segment on the Morning show this morning but I forgot to watch it.  Did anyone catch it to see who was still together etc?

There were only one or two couples that I thought might actually have a chance.  And those were the ones where the mum's were actually bearable, not sure some of those girls would have stuck around long with those mums waiting in the wings.

An yes, no surprise that Andrea was picked, what shocked me though was that Vlad was claiming how much he liked her and thought he would have a long and happy life with her etc, yet he had seemed so smitten with Liz.  I think Liz is smart enough to know that she was actually the lucky on in that situation, to be not picked and able to easily escape

I just watched the update on the Morning Show, and Tony and Magdalena decided to not pursue anything (no surprise), Brendan and Anna were together a few months but then broke up, and Matt and Amanda lasted a week after the show

Vlad and Mini Milena are in different states taking it a day at a time

Also Brendan and Koa have just started a relationship. Didn't see that one coming!

#19 BeYOUtiful

I thought they said that Brendan got her number off Matt (?) and was going to call Koa?  I got the impression it hadn't happened as yet.
Bad taste imo, phoning around the other girls when others didn't work out.  I thought he was nice on the show, goes to show the 'fame' may have gone to his head lol.

I also liked how Matt snuck in that he was now single, as Larry and Sam didn't ask.

I got the impression they were starting their relationship, seeing as he said it was in the very early days. I could be wrong and misheard though shrug.gif
I think it's better that he goes for the other guy's girl, than go for Edwina and make her feel like she was his second choice. She can do so much better than him.

ETA: I just replayed it, and he did say "it's early days, Koa and I have caught up".

So did Tony go after Barbie (aka Tammy Lee)?
I actually found Magdalena really annoying & thought Elva picked badly.

This surprises me seeing Mum Milena had such a go at Liz for liviing in a different state! Agree Liz is lucky she escaped from that family.

I think Milena just assumed that Andrea would happily move to Adelaide for her boy.

I definitely think that Liz dodged a bullet and probably only stayed as long as she did because of contractual obligations.  After seeing the highlights of what Milena had said about her I am amazed that Liz was so restrained in her last speech.

I bet the rest of the girls were glad they weren't paired with Vlad as the other 'Mums' seemed quite nice.

Aww see I LOVED Milena, but that's probably because i'm Italian and I can see most of my relatives in her lol.

This show has been my guilty pleasure for weeks. I have been taping it and just watched the final episode. I missed the morning show recap of who was with who so it's great to get an update.

Milena to me was like one of those evil queen baddies in a fairytale! She was sooooo very mean and awful.

Being from a similar cultural background to that family I knew exactly how evil Milena would be and all I could think was Liz please run for the hills otherwise your life will be misery with that MIL.

I know of a lot of 30/40/and 50 somthing Balkan background boys who will forever remain single due to their mothers' interferring!

Vlad was a spineless mammas boy and he will either remain single forever or his mother will poison his relationships for life.

No surprises re Magdelena and Tony. I couldn't figure out why Magdelena was happy to stick around and be second best.

Brendan didn't seem like a catch at all - was surprised anyone was/is interested in him.

Matt was okay but again his mother is carrying his balls around in her purse so no surprise it didn't work out there.

What a train wreck - loved it all the same! I hope they all got paid big bucks for going on the show.
