"We have finally found you a suitable husband," her mother declared with a sigh as her eyes faded from crimson back to a soft emerald green. "He is one of us. We must meet with him now, downtown, before anyone finds out he is here."
"Who is this man and why is he so SUITABLE?? And... what do you mean he is one of us?" Amberlynn demanded.

"Well, he looks like a god, is hung like a horse and doesn't mind a bit of blood while eating. And his name is Dharkna. What else could you want?" declared her mother as she walked out the front door, expecting Amberlynn to follow.
"A choice. And what kind of a name is Dharkna?! How bogan is that?!" mumbled Amberlynn as she locked the front door on her way out.
Posted 16 February 2012 - 12:40 PM
"Bogan? What is a bogan... ahhh, nevermind," her mother murmured.
Amberlynn and her mother quickly disappeared into the black Mercedes that was waiting outside the front gate.
Amberlynn worriedly studied the dark interior of the vehicle and wondered what on earth the next 24 hours would hold for her.
Out of nowhere, a deep, smouldering voice broke the silence....

The way he looked at Amberlynn was disturbing. He moved closer, as if to give her a kiss...
"Ahhhh!" Amberlynn screamed as the black Mercedes she was travelling in was hit from behind, sending the expensive vehicle into a spin.
Suddenly everything went black.
"Don't be afraid," whispered a familiar soothing voice.
