Nicole: Good luck! Can I ask what are you eating (or not eating!) on the diet. I don't know if I will bother ph testing as it will probably just stress me out if ph is not where it should be! I was planning on following Shettles timing when the time comes!

Does anyone know if I should stop taking my usual multi-vitamin tablet while I am taking all these other supps?
I was going to take calcium + magnesium, cranberry... ummm.. what else ladies? original.gif

Congratulations szj!  Hope there's a little pink one in there for you!

Sorry about not being able to get PM's - I have no idea what's going on!!!  I tried to message mods to find out but couldn't get my post through!  Strange...gremlins at work again!

NICOLE - RePhresh is available at most chemists.  It is in a pre-filled applicator which you insert vaginally and squeeze all the product in.  It stays in there for around 3 days and is designed to keep your Ph at optimal 'girl' level for that time.  Do wear a panty liner though! Your question about timing - I don't know it plays as huge a role as was once thought.  O+12 is notoriously inaccurate.  Frequent BD lowers DH sperm count which sways pink.  But if he's doing other things to lower his count it may not be necessary.  Abstaining will lower his count too, but if he happens to be a bit older, its not probably the best idea.

MRS s30 - If you are swaying pink I'd definitely cut out your multi vitamin as research is suggesting that a higher nutrient diet sways blue.  Just take the folate on its own.

Will try to get the PM issue fixed, but will pop in here regularly to answer as many questions as I can!

Oh and in relation to the diet - not sure what diet everyone is doing?  Some of them are incredibly restrictive and invariably lead to cheats!

FWIW - I did the LOW EVERYTHING diet - low calories, low nutrient, low fat, low carbs etc, for my girl sway.  Boys swayers would do the opposite - HIGH EVERYTHING.  This seems to be what the latest research is showing.

Just heard back from Mods - no reason I shouldn't be receiving PMs so they suggested this:

Go to My Controls (under your username on the left of the screen)

Under the Menu (second column on the left) look for the Options subheading and click on Board Settings.

In the Control Panel, look for this bit ...

"Type of text editor to use when posting"

If it is set to Rich Text Editor, change it to Standard Editor (or vice versa).

See if that works!

Aqualime - i hope you are keeping busy in the tww. When are you testing?

AFM: After researching and researching and thinking i had it all planned, now the time has come (currently  on CD11) i am freaking out! What if it doesn't work? What if i haven't done enough? What if i'm doing it all wrong? Does anyone else feel like this? Please tell me i'm not insane lol! So this is what my DH and i have decided to to. Would love to here others opinions please!
Have been doing diet (as best we can!) for 12 weeks, taking calcium, magnesium, cranberry + iron and folate for me, using lavander soap, wooden spoon with pink ribbon under bed, hot showers before BD, using OPK's, charting temp (for 5 months!), going with cut off as well as O+12 , keep changing my mind with abstaining or not! I think that is everything lol! Would love others opinions on cut off or O+12 as well as abstaining or regular BDing?? I so wish we could just 'put in an order of what we so desperately wanted'  wink.gif

I'm on day 16 now and I think I'll test on the 19th of March which will be day 28.

OMG I feel like you too! It's time, but what if we haven't done enough! argh! I'm just doing as much as a can and leaving it up to nature to decide the end result original.gif

Wow szj how exciting - really really happy for you. When you are ready please post your recollection of how you did it all.

Nicole83 - you are so no alone with how you are feeling/thinking.  I definitely have been there and still go through that even after 18 mths of TTC pink.  Keep at it and it surely must happen for us sometime.

Thanks Sassy for details of your successful conception.  It really lifted my spirits and has also made me re-evaluate how I'm doing this.

afm - have been away from home for few days and just had to get on my mum's computer and check in here, had a feeling there might be a bfp!  Trying not to think about 2ww but is so hard.

Hello,

I am ready to start my journey for preparing to TTC pink and hope I can join in with you all.

I have been researching ph testers and read that the Hanna 98103 digital tester is recommended for testing CM.  Has anyone got a digital tester ?  Do I need to buy special solutions to go with it ?  I have no idea what I'm doing !!

In terms of the diet.  It really seems like there won't be much to eat. Is this the case ?

I plan to take cranberry tablets, calcium and magnesium. Was thinking of using Rephresh as lube ?

I look forward to following all your progress.

Love Avonlea
