Hi ladies,

If you are a Trainee Doula who needs to ask for members to help finish their course requirements, you are welcome to post here.

Under no circumstances are you permitted to approach pregnant members via pm unless they have first made contact with you, either by pm or on the boards.

Please ensure that you get members to PM you for further information (note that contact details will be removed for your own safety).
Make sure you place the state/town etc that you are in so that you only get members from your area.

Good luck.

Old thread is here.

TRAINEE DOULA IN BLUE MOUNTAINS , NSW

I am a Trainee Doula looking for two expecting parents to complete my certification with Childbirth International as a Birth Doula. My service will be free of charge and will include two prenatal meetings, email and phone support, support during labor and birth, and two visits and on call support during 6 weeks post-partum.

My own experience is being a mother to three delightful children, daughter who's nearly 10, middle son is 5 years old and our little big boy 2.5 years old. I have spent over 7 years breastfeeding.  Over the past ten years I have had a passion for pregnancy, parenthood, babies and children. My partner and I have done extensive research and have life experience to draw from. This is what I intend to share as a doula, to those needing some extra support.

Please PM me if you are in need of a doula in the Blue Mountains area.

Warmly

Jacqui

Hi Mums to be original.gif

Im training as a birth doula in the mackay region as require two births to finish my certification.

I'm a mum of 3- 1 c-sect and 2vbac's. I decided to enter the world of a doula after moving from Melb to Mackay and being unable to find and additional birth supports here outside of the normal hospital offered schedule.

I have worked as a registered nurse for the last 10years but would like to swing away from the clinical side and concentrate more on the patient hence a doula is the perfect role. I believe childbirth should be something that's empowering and positive and every woman has the right to choose how and where she births.

I'm offering my services free of charge until my certification is complete. If you've considered using a doula or would like to know more please send me a pm original.gif

** TRAINEE DOULA BASED IN CRONULLA **

Hi Mummies and mummies-to-be, just wanted to   introduce myself, I'm Georgie and I am a Trainee Doula with the   Australian Doula College in Sydney.

I am on the hunt for 3 lovely   mummies-to-be who would like some additional emotional and physical   support in their impending labour as well as someone who will help guide   you through the world of the 3 Ps - policies, procedures and politics.

All final arrangements are made through the College, but if anyone is   interested in finding out more, please feel free to get in contact with   me via PM and if you would be interested, then we can meet for an   obligation-free meet and greet where we can find out whether we are a   good fit.

Hereā€™s the deal:
Trainee Doulas with ADC are charged at $320+GST (paid to the College)   and for that, you will have 3 antenatal visits of 1.5-2hrs each, my   support for the duration of the birth until you feel settled and a further 2 postnatal appointments after the birth to   debrief and for help with your new baby.

I would prefer   clients to be located in the Sutherland Shire (as I have a young child   myself), but will be open to other areas from City and Eastern Suburbs south to the Shire.

I believe it   is always a great idea to get started at least a couple of months   before you are due and that is why I'm getting in now. I will be ready   to support your birth from June onwards, so if you are on the countdown   to motherhood, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

With love and gratitude,
Georgie
