I am wondering if anyone can help? I am looking for an Australian (or short overseas flight) to a child-free resort.

Would like a 4 or 5 star. Good food & drinks and a beautiful pool or two to laze by.

I keep googling and 9/10 results come up as gay/lesbian or nudists resorts. Not exactly what I am looking for!

Thanks so much.

We stayed at one on Hamilton Island a few years ago, it was pricey but fabulous. Will probably be 20 years before we get to go to another one  wink.gif

Sorry I can't remember the name, but there are a few in the Whitsundays.

We have stayed a breakas beach resort in vanuatu. Adults only, on the beach, I think it has now been bought out by ramada resorts but still under the same name.

If your after something with tv, air conditioning etc.. Not the place, you stay in beach bungalows, open air bathrooms but it is so relaxing and a great place.

Depends on how much you really want to spend, and if Fiji is too far.

Googling couple only resorts gives lots of results.  I think googling adult only resorts might bring up a different set!

My friend just stayed at Qualia, she loved it. Pricey though, but the photos looked amazing.

Also try googling honeymoon as well... when I was looking because we were thinking of going OS everywhere I found was no children (which doesn't help us because we'll have DSDs with us!)

Shantara in port Douglas.
Wanted to go there for our babymoon but, alas, completely booked out for the dates we needed. Looks amazing in the pictures.

Good luck with your decision - there are some amazing suggestions!!
