Everytime I refresh (after not using EB for a few hours) I have to log in again.
Then when I click to login, it brings up a box to log in, then logs me in without logging in.

If that makes sense lol.

I just posted in a thread, went to edit and it told me I wasn't authorised due to not being logged in.

I confirmed my membership, everytime I log onto EB it says I'm not logged in and when I click on the "log in" button I get a blank screen.
However.... I can reply to threads so I'm not sure what is going on!

I get the same thing and it is doing my head in. Especially after the password reset DEBACLE.

I really appreciate that it is frustrating (it's happening to me as well) but we are working on it as quickly as we can.

We do apologise for the inconvenience as I have said already.

When I try and quote in a reply the little quote thingy goes red but when the reply screen opens it isn't there?

Hi everyone

Whenever merges like this take place,  there are always unexpected issues that occur, no matter how much testing is carried out prior to the changes.
There are a large amount of people  from Tech support, to Admin/Mods, and other support staff that are working hard to clear issues and to get people logged in and posting.

It is great to  have the feedback on any issues you come across, and we do assure you that they are being passed on and hopefully they will be resolved quickly for everyone.

Your time and patience is greatly appreciated, I know most of us were on the site early to help deal with issues.

Kind regards

I an understand you want people to be patient, but I am getting tired of logging in and out all the time. Half the time it is because I have gone to post something.

I am losing paitence as well.

I have tried at 9am this morning (7 hours of being paitent now) and I still can't log in. I tried the "forgot password" options and had a new password full of numbers and letters emailed to me. I tried to use this but it still says I have the wrong password. I don't remember ever having a fairfax account so I have no idea what password it is expecting me to put in and since the reset password also doesn't work, I have simply opened a new account to be able to post here and advise EB of the issues.

I'd ideally love to one day be able to use my old profile again (it's kee by the way), is this possible? I seem to have had more issues with this changeover than other posters are having - even having to log on all the time is better than not being able to log in at all like I have been stuck with.

Hi everyone,

I have been logged out all day with issues. I emailed the above (with a prompt reply thanks!) and was advised to clear my cache.

It helped and I am finally logged in. I couldnt log in without a blank log in box appearing.

I got as far as setting up the fairfax details/log in, but it wouldnt log me in back at eb. but its worked now I have done what I was told lol!.

Glad it wasn't just me getting an errors then! I think I'm sorted though!

Don't know if this has been mentioned but the forum won't load for me in Chrome. I get the following error:

So glad to see that some of the issues with logging in are being sorted out. original.gif

There are a lot of us working behind the scenes to ensure this transition is as smooth as possible. original.gif  However, we realise there are still some issues to be sorted, so the best advice is to email us at customerservice@essentialbaby.com.au and we'll try our best to get you sorted out as quickly as possible original.gif

Kind regards

Hi Therese,
My issue is much the same as Kee/Sicily.  Sent email to both customer service and editor.  My old user name - fifilicious.
Thanks

My suggestion if it appears that you keep being logged out is to ignore it and not try to re-log in, as that will happen automatically and you may cause more issues pressing 'login' each time.

If you see a white pop-up or a blank screen try refreshing the page.

I also reiterate that these issues WILL be fixed asap, and I really appreciate everyone's patience.

Since the registration change EB logs me on automatically (as it usually does as I've selected "remember me") and then it kicks me out after I've visited a thread or two.

Maybe I'll take this as a sign that I've been spending too much time on here lately anyway!

There is no such thing as too much time here surely Tounge1.gif  Seriously though, we are aware of the logging out issue and are trying to rectify it original.gif
