BRONZE!

Congrats Have3Wanting4! Great news xx All the best for the weeks and months ahead
MrsBully1 - sorry you find yourself here! hope you work out your cycle and get that fat belly soon xx
MrsBoof - any BFP yet??
rara12 - hope AF shows up soon!
Hi everyone else! I lost track with the personals, sorry.
Hope everyone had a great weekend. Anyone testing soon?
AFM, my period has been awful this month, really heavy and drawn out. Guessing things are still not back to normal really. Going to try to focus on being a bit healthier this month, improve my diet and get some more exercise. It will be a good distraction too!

splendid - sorry to hear af is being a real cow this month, not nice for her to turn up at all let alone make her presence so painful  sad.gif

rara12 - hope af turns up for you soon, getting it for the first time after m/c is always a releif I find.

afm - just a quick one on how my fs appoint went.  I thought I might be up for IUI before IVF but she said we should just go straight for IVF.  She said the advantage for us is that they can put the "good" eggs back in so we have a better chance of no chromosonal abnomalities (well less likely).  DH and I have decided to do a couple more natural cycles and see what happens first though.  She has put me on asprin full time as I'm ANA Pos and also I'm to start taking Progesterone Pess from around day 20 (so after I have ovulated) and she thinks this will help with the spotting between O and AF.  The other thing I found interesting re my cycle is when I mentioned my pos OPK she said well lets do a scan and have a look.  And it showed I was still at least 3 -4 days off ovulating.  She (and my gp for that matter) don't really beleive in OPK's as a good indicator of O.  The other thing I learned was that I could have a luteal phase of between 10 to 14 days - I always thought I was bang on 14 days each time but not true!  So I could be days off when I've been thinking I've O'd and that's why I keep missing the egg as we are stopping BD too early.  So we are really going for it the next few cycles, all the way to day 19 is we can make it - omg we will be exhausted  roll2.gif

Hi ladies,

Sorry, I dissapeared for a litle while there.

But yes, AF did eventually arrive. It was just being deceptive in turing up 4 days after expected - some spotting on Monday and then arriving fully on Wed. However, that in itself isn;t a bad thing. DH is heading overseas for work for 1 week leaving Sunday - so at least now he should be back in time for O, whereas if AF was on time them maybe we might have missed it. But I am wondering if my cycle is correcting itself back to the 35day cycle I had before DD.

Jane23 - It sounds like the FS appointment was very helpful. And nice to know that you have a plan in place for the future - but hopefully you wont need it and you will get your BFP soon!

rara12 - any sign of AF yet (or a BFP if your trying)? It took 5 weeks for mine to arrive after a natural m/c

congrats have3wanting4!!! Yay!!

Bugger about AF splendid, and thanks to my AF being later we wont be testing around the same time this cycle  - hope this month is the month for us both! I am also focussing on health this month - particually back to exercise. I am wondering if my few weeks of sadness about my m/c finally catching up to me last month affected my fertility?

Anyone seen SusieBlue around? Maybe I'll have to go stalk her and to see how she is going after her BFP a ocuple of weeks ago.

Mrsboof - Thank you for thinking of me original.gif I'm still following the group, although I haven't been posting because I didn't know if I should or not. I'll let you know whats happening so you don't need to stalk! biggrin.gif

Well, I'm still pg (almost 7 weeks going off when I think I Oed). Pregnancy after mc is a totally different experience. I'm either a)just trying not to think about it, or b) totally paranoid that something will go wrong. There actually really hasn't been any moments of just happiness. I seem to have more symptoms this time, and they seem like the symptoms I had when I was pg with DS so that is giving me some comfort, although I am still reasonably well. We're going on holidays for a week todau, and then we have a scan when we get back - I thought I might enjoy my holiday more this way.

Anyway, DS is around my feet and making it difficult to type!! I hope to see more of you graduating soon original.gif

Hi again everyone
SusieBlue: glad to hear things are going well so far! Enjoy your holiday and good luck for your scan.
mrsboof: sorry to hear that AF did show up, but at least your cycles might be getting back to normal. And also good that your DH will be home in time for ovulation! I imagine it would be frustrating to know you are ovulating and not having DH there!!
Jane23: glad you got some useful advice at your FS appointment. And like mrsboof said, it's nice to know there is a plan if nothing happens over the next couple of months!
rara12: any sign of AF yet? Hopefully not too far away now.
Hi everyone else!
AFM, CD 8, I think. I am counting the first day of heavy bleeding as CD 1, even though I had spotting/light bleeding 4 days before that. I was at my GP during the week for an unrelated thing, and spoke briefly with him about what's been happening. He isn't sure that I'm regularly ovulating, as I've had a few short cycles. I've also still been producing breastmilk, even though I weaned DD 4 months or so ago, so maybe that's afffecting my cycle. He said we can give it 2 months, and if nothing happens we'll do some blood tests and maybe try to clomid to reset my cycle. So nice to have an action plan in case I need it, but fingers crossed this will be my month anyway! I've got loads of uni work to do which is a good distraction. Although crawling into bed late after a big night of assignment writing hardly lends itself to much BD, but I guess I will have to try to make an effort!!
Have a good weekend everyone, the sun is shining where I am, so that is nice!!
Splendid, xx

Hi all hope everyone had a great weekend. I spent mine baking lots of cookies so we now have honey jumbles, choc chip and sultana n cornflake cookies in the pantry aswell as some in the freezer and I hope they last a fair while as I dont want to bake again for a long time, though with 3 boys in the house I think thats wishful thinking.

Jane23 glad you got some good advice from the fs and you know where things will be going if it doesnt work naturally.

mrsboof sorry about af but on the positive atleast it turned up late so your DH will be around for O.

splendid I hope your cycles sort themselves out soon and I hope uni doesnt keep you too busy so you can still get some BD happening at the right time.

AFM still no af or a bfp either as I POAS yesterday cause have been feeling rather tired and the smell of raw chicken was making me gag (has never made me do that before) and my DH has been saying for the past 4 days that im pg but I kind of knew it would be neg as there are none of the other signs that I had when pg and I just dont feel it IYKWIM as I kind of felt like it last time.

Hope everyone has a good week.

Hi again everyone
Have you caved in and tested yet spitmurphys?? good luck to you....!
And how many DPO are you rara12? Might have just been too early to test.
Hi everyone else
AFM, think I maybe O yesterday? CD 12 today. Decided no maybe baby this month, and no OPK etc. They just make me more obsessive. Anyway, really busy time at home at the moment, so haven't had too much time to think about it all, it's been nice.

I will test again on sunday (which is my wedding anniversary) it will prob be a bfn as I have no idea when I Oed as have been getting confusing signs from my body so I still think its trying to sort itself out, so Im just taking a guess as it will be 6 wks after my d&c.

Hi all,

Any news Spitmurphys?

Sounds like Splendid and rara12 will be the next to test. I had the same problem afte my m/c - I had AF 5 weeks later, but I'm not actually sure I O'd that cycle. It just wasn't right....

Well after a 32day cycle last month I am slightly confused about what is happening wth me. I have been having EWCM since Sat (? day 11 of cycle), and its still ongoing. So DH and I will just keep up with the BDing this month and will see what happens. After my fall apart last month I am actually feeling pretty good now. I think it was the cry I needed to have post m/c - It was just a bit delayed. But I am focusing a bit on general health this month, and trying not to obsess over TTC. I started going to personal training again, and I started another job - just an additional 1 day a week ontop of my other part-time job. This new job may be difficult if I fall preg (especially if I get lots of low BP like I did last time) so we will see what happens.

Edited because of my shameful spelling ....

mrsboof  - congrats on the new job and pt  original.gif  Hope this is your month and you catch that egg.

Rach_B - glad af turned up for you, the waiting after m/c is the hardest.  I had to wait nearly 6 1/2 weeks after my last one, it was torture.

rara12 - goodluck on Sunday and happy anniversary.  What a great gift if you get a bfp!

afm - I'm only 11dpo today and have been waking up starving hungry for the last two mornings.  don't know if its the prog pessaries playing havoc with my body or what.  I wasn't going to test until Sunday but we have a wedding to go to tomorrow so DH wants me to test so I don't go consuming any champagne if I'm utd.  I don't think I am and am not looking forward to seeing that bfn  nno.gif will let you know how I go.

Hi all

Well I tested this morning and its a BFN, so its 6 weeks after my d&c and still nothing though I was getting really bad cramps early last week. So I guess if no AF or its a BFN again next week I think I will see the doc just to make sure everything is ok.

Rach_B glad af finally turned up for you.

Congrats mrsboof on the new job and good luck with the PT.

Sorry about the BFN Jane23 hopefully you catch the egg next month.

Hope everyone has a great sunday.

Hi everyone
Well, I have some news. I POAS yesterday and... BFP! It is very early days, so I'm trying not to get too ahead of myself just yet. I'll head off to my GP next week for a referral to my OB. Hopefully by the time that I get to see her she might be able to see something on a scan.
Thanks everyone for the support, and hope you all get your BFP's soon.

Congrats spendid!!!

My bestie came up to visit me yesterday and confessed that she is 5weeks preg!! I'm so excited for her, she had a missed m/c and a d/c the month before I fell preg and then had my early loss. The only problem is she is really desperate for me to fall this month, as then our due dates will be 2 weeks apart (although I will be having a C-section at 38weeks for any pregnancy I have so essentially will be the same week).

Its kind of rocked my boat a little. I am soooo thrilled for her, but I have been so focussed on 'getting on with life' (and just letting 'it' happen when it happens) that I had decided I wasnt going to be that dissapointed with a BFN this month. But now I'm worried about dissapointing her and ruining her plan of us being pregnant together (it would be awesome) because I get (most likely) a BFN. So now I know I will be dissapointed if I get a BFN, whereas I think I would have been fine before.

It was so good when she told me she was preg as I was honestly so happy for her and didn't have any jealous/sad feelings at all. I am in such a better place now than I was 6 weeks ago. Although I have kinda been through it all in the last month - I am now the only mum in my mums group who isnt pregnant with their second ohmy.gif
