"A tad" quiet?!

Was wondering why I didn't get an email for the last few posts as I have subscribed to this topic. Looked back through my inbox ... turns out I got one ages ago but missed it, and of course you only get the one until you visit the forum.  Doh!!

Hi Mel

Sleep issues are always a bit tricky.  Could be teething, sometimes it's just enough to unsettle them but not enough to make them unhappy all the time.  Does he have a dummy?

Hi Mel, there are a few of us in this group with babies ranging from 4.5 - 6 months that have had "sleep regressions" lately.  Carter (5.5 months) had nearly a week of it at around 5 months but is back to good sleeping patterns now.  It seems they are adjusting to longer sleeping overnight and often change their daytime sleeps to 2 or 3 longer sleeps rather than a lot of shorter sleeps around this age.  One thing we've noticed is that they are all different and that these stages don't usually last too long. Good luck!

Hey Everyone! Just though I'd pop in here for a change of scenery. On the sleep regression issue, Amelie is now over 7 months and I think that the worst of it is over. Only one late night milk bar request last night, and straight back to sleep after that. Much better than the numerous wakings I'd been getting for a month before that! I think my little super duper sleeper is back! I think it could have been down to heat, as she still loves being wrapped and we had so many hot nights there for a while, but it's cooled down now. I also went back to sleeping on the futon in her room for a while, which I think she found a great comfort knowing I was right there beside the cot.

I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend! X

That is so good to hear.  Great idea about sleeping in Amelie's room to get her through a rough patch.  We've moved the spare bed out of Carter's room (as it was a king single and taking up too much room) but I was hoping he'd need me to sleep in there (so I can watch him while he sleeps, I miss that)
