Hi all...what a godsend to find this group!
I haven't suffered PI in previous pregnancies, so this is all very new and painful!! I'm currently 24 weeks, and have to say very daunted at the prospect of 15+ weeks more to go. I'm terrified of being bed ridden or needing walking aides! I was really hoping for a lovely active pregnancy. The physical pain is awful, but I'm finding the mental side of things 10 times worse, if that's possible.
I've found a fabulous physio, and I'm taped up at present. I have tubigrip around my waist each day..I reserve my belt for when I'm on my feet (I find it just too painful otherwise).
Looking forward to the support from others

Just a quick update - my ongoing issues with SPD eventually led to a bone dying in my foot (due to gait issues caused by pelvic instability). Had surgery in October last year and it is still healing. I hope that everyone posting in this forum is part of the lucky 93% for whom SPD disappears after the birth of your babies.
